I am a truck driver and I pick up at CES manufacturing right behind DQ quite frequently. I park my truck and walk to the restaurant. I went inside at 9:15 to place my order and the young man said he can’t take my order because the dining room was closed. The drive through was full of cars. So I asked if I could stand in drive through and place my order. The young man looked confused I told him that’s ok I will go somewhere else. If the dining room was closed why wasn’t the door locked. I always eat at this restaurant when I’m picking up here.

NEVER GO HERE Absolutely horrible. I ordered a blizzard with chocolate ice cream and they said it was fine. When I got to the window to pay they gave me vanilla ice cream and I tried to correct it and she said they were out of chocolate ice cream. I asked for a refund because it's not what I ordered and she said she doesn't know how to do that.

Do not I repeat do not waste your time or money going to this dairy queen try the one in Valley Alabama I went here I bought two banana splits and a freeze ok $18.00 the girl clearly made the banana splits wrong there was more banana than ice cream there wasn't enough strawberry to even taste there was two shirts of whipped cream the manager argued with me that this is how banana splits are made I explained to him that that's not the case well he informed me that next time I would not be getting it the way I want it but I most certainly will it just won't be at the Opelika dairy queen he wanted me to pay for extra toppings I will not I'm already paying a ridiculous amount for a banana split and I wasn't asking for extra I just wanted what I paid for you lost my business for sure.

I went to this Dairy Queen and had zero problems. I had a cotton candy blizzard and everyone was nice.

Terrible experience on today 4/1/23 at 8:20 pm. First, I want to state that I ordered a cupfection on Wednesday when the owners were there. The ice cream was full. The brownie was cut in half. It came with a lid. Tonight, I came while a load of teens were working. They put ice cream on one half of the cup and put the uncut brownie on the other half. This is a $8 dessert. Why would I pay $8 for half a cup of ice cream? I politely asked them to make it again. The Hispanic young man and African American young woman were very nice. However after it was remade, a Caucasian young man with the drive thru headset came to the window and proceeded to tell me and my husband that if we look at the picture, it's made how they had it the first time. My husband proceeded to correct him and let him know we are both former employees of this location and the proper way is ice cream, sauce, ice cream with a curled top, brownie cut in half placed on the side and topped with sauce and dry toppings. He goes on to say "Well we work here now" and had a complete attitude. Knowing the owners, I KNOW this is not how they speak to their customers. Please teach your children to learn how to speak to people. I was not rude in my request to just put a bit enough ice cream in my cup. My husband even joked with the two people at the window and then to have a child with a nasty attitude come pop off at the mouth with me when he was wrong (because that's not what the picture reflects) is absolutely disgusting. I will likely not be back if this issue is not resolved because it's quite clear that he is comfortable with doing this when the owners aren't present. Please seek a trade bc you, young man, can't handle the pressures of a Saturday night DQ rush and public service is not for you. You're in the wrong place at the wrong time in life to do what you done tonight. I and my husband are parents with jobs that care for others. Kindness us a part of our daily lives and the essence of who we are, but as social media proves daily, everyone is not kind and won't simply write a review on Google. These people worked hard to keep their business afloat. Stop making them look bad and lay off the weed while you're at work.

The store smelled funny & the customer service wasn't any better, some of these young people have the worst I don't care attitudes that I've ever seen.

How is the 100 on the wall? I had the rudest and most dismissive customer experience. Nobody had on hair nets or gloves. It wasn’t a very welcoming experience at all. I’ll stick to Bruster’s.

I ordered two cheeseburgers. We had to bring them back because they didn't have cheese. They were steaming hot. I asked her how they were cooked. She said the patties were already cooked. When the burgers are ordered they assemble the sandwich and put the entire thing in the microwave.
