We are military and haven’t been to Jim Bobs in Opelika in 14 years. Recently while driving down I-85 we decided to stop and eat for nostalgias sake. We were heartbroken. (Has this place changed ownership?) I have eaten in cleaner restaurants in Iraq and Afghanistan. The cook came out filthy, another guy came and stood behind the cashier and let out a belch. The floor sticks to your shoes, the tables and walls are filthy. Splatter from spilled drinks on the walls. AND….the chicken fingers are now half the size. We will never be back and recommend to others to “stay away”. My wife had an upset stomach all evening. So, so sad. Also a suggestion….Instead of everyone behind the counter on their phones, maybe they could be wiping down the tables or mop the floor with some grease cutter when it’s slow…we were the only ones there at 1330 yesterday.

First time in Opelika in many years. Found Jim Bobs Restaurant and ate there. The food was absolutely delicious and the sweet tea I drank was one of the best I've had at a restaurant. The service was great and the employees were so sweet. I highly recommend them and you got to try the cheese cake....totally awesome!!!

Great hot wings! My wife had the mild wings and loved them, too.

Fries were stale and soggy and had to be thrown out, wings were undercooked, soggy, and had to be recooked.

Terrible customer service. Definitely not the Jim bobs I remember before I moved out of town

One of the best spots in town to get some good chicken and they have the best fries around!!

Love me some Jim Bob's. Especially the catfish plate, wings, salads, and fried okra.

Pretty good chicken finger biscuit. Didn't try much my first time, I plan on going back.

Just no! Went here to order dinner for my family, two chicken finger snacks with fries and two wing meals (one with onion rings, one with fries). For almost $40, I got basically all drummettes - only two flats, no toast on the wing meals, onion rings were super hard and tasted old/reheated, fries, the same with the taste of being fried in fish oil. When I called back, I was told that items were cooked to order (well, hard, greasy, old fries/onion rings, I think not...), they cook themin separate fryers (I know fish grease when I taste it.), and that you have to specify what you want for your flats/drummettes ratio on wings or else “you get what we have on hand” (that didn’t make sense...one would think they’d give you an even amount of each, give or take)....I didn’t even mention the missing, partially grilled toast that was included on my snacks but not the actual meal... I had mild flavored wings with lemon pepper sprinkled. These traditional wings were yummy. Just wish I could have enjoyed a few flats, fresh sides, and my slice of toast that I paid for to fully enjoy my meal...

I Love Jim Bob's for their grilled chicken fingers and are really good!!!! I hope to come in for breakfast after they were so nice to send me their menu online.

My food was over cooked especially since i had to wait for a while in the drive thru. Very disappointing. The staff no longer wears masks.

Not so good service they charged me for someone else food. I ordered wings and chicken sandwich with fries. During my lunch break got back to work open my food to eat and the wings was fried so hard untill you couldn't eat them. My chicken sandwich tasted like it was fried in fish oil. My fries was burnt i was so disappointed that I had spent my money and couldn't enjoy my lunch.
