First time at one ever! Basically got there right as they were opening for lunch....so not busy at all...maybe 4 tables total. Our server was very cordial and offered suggestions since we were new to menu. We ended up with the Fried Pickles as a starter and we split the Blackened Chicken sandwich. Loved the flavor, a bit messy but it was really good. Substituted our fries for Onion Rings...like the real.thin cut rings...we will definitely be back. I want to try some of the Louisiana food next time!

There was barely anyone in the place and it took forever to get our food. Once we got our food, we didn't see our waitress until we were almost done with our food, so we couldn't order more fries for our entree. Meanwhile, the whole staff was sitting in the back booths, laughing and having a good time, including our waitress.

First off the food was amazing! However, our waitress, Sam, had a very condescending attitude. He was extremely rude and i’m not sure if that’s just how he is, but it needs to be worked on.

Came week 1 NFL and they couldn’t work the TVs. They said they knew it would be an issue, but didn’t start to work on it until the games started. Left after an hour of this foolishness but gave them the benefit of the doubt since they recently opened. Fast forward to March, NCAA tournament I give them another try. Still can’t work TVs. Half are on ESPN, a quarter on the nightly news. Is this a sports bar? Seems they are only focused on mediocre food, not sports.

Had the sausage Gumbo (maybe they call it jambalaya, can't recall). Either way, the "sausage" was nothing more than cheap hot dogs. Tasted like what comes in a can with beanie weanies - remember those? Yuck. And it's a pricey menu! No lunch specials either. If I'm going to spend $25 dollars for lunch, I expect more. Definitely better options around Tiger Town in Opelika. I did see someone with a grilled cheese and it looked great, but I still wouldn't pay the price they want for one. Not worth it. Doubt I'll go back unless with a group and majority chooses.
I Can honestly say the food matched the vibe, iam big on the food more than the vibe, because u can make ur own vibe, but more importantly the waitresses was friendly, and the food was good. I do recommend

First time eating in. My husband and I came for Lunch and our server Sidney was awesome. The atmosphere was great. Sidney was pleasant and helpful with the menu. The only issue is the waffle fries was cold and hard which shouldn’t be at anytime but especially around lunch time because they just open.
