I was nervous because of TexMex comments. Thankfully, this is NOT TexMex, which is usually overly spicy. This place has great flavor. Chicken flautas were best thing on the menu. Fajita nachos close second.Main drawback was that it was a bit pricey.
Daisy is always so sweet and takes great care of our Ladies group that meets there every month! Food is Always consistently great ! Kudos to all the staff and management at this establishment!

I stopped in here wanting to celebrate finishing a difficult job after a long day. The food was good as usual, but we found the atmosphere and decor inside a little bare. I think I only noticed these things because of how long we waited for our server. And our drinks. There was grunge-rock playing throughout the restaurant. Not Mexican grunge, just grunge. Fairly loud. After a while, we actually considered leaving. But our server finally came apologizing convincingly. It appeared the staff were struggling to keep up. Maybe someone called out sick. I usually sit outside for lunch, so perhaps they just had a bad night. But after some beer and satisfying meal, we were good.Parking: Watch for the speed bumps and hold onto your drink.
My family loves Cactus Cantina! It's the closest thing to Tex-Mex you can find in this area. Coming from Dallas, we have a taste for good quality, delicious Mexican food. This place doesn't disappoint. Their vegetarian options are absolutely the best I've had in Alabama! My husband loves their fajitas and always orders a side of pico, which is made in-house. The servers are always friendly, and we appreciate having this place as our preferred go-to Mexican restaurant. Since we are regulars, next time I'll get pictures.

My friend and i dined in, from the moment we arrived until we left we were treated so quick and with kindness! Our server. Brittany,was amazing and our drinks and food was brought to us lightning fast! You absolutely have to try their cactus grits, they are sooo delicious!! We had such a great time i didnt get my phone out to take any pictures!

Dante was the best waiter! Very prompt & courteous. Fajitas was wonderful ( a great cut of steak ). So many places have very chewy beef. Not here. Thank you for that. My margarita he suggested ( the knockout ) was an excellent choice.
