This place is adorable! It features ice cream, boba, hot chocolate & donuts. The interior is clever, silly and fun for all ages. Many unique options for donuts. Ginormous Apple fritters. Everything is delicious. They are well staffed. Many people ready to take your order so although the line is out the door you will not wait long. Great ability to recommend & describe the unique creations they have. Would absolutely recommend for a fun and unique vacation stop in Orange Beach.

Donut selection was good and the service was as expected. Cute and clean place. We would definitely visit again.

Ummmm.... they don't sell coffee. They claim to have a " noncompete" with Starbucks. I don't know about you, but when I have a donut, I enjoy it with a hot cup of coffee. The girl at the counter was kind of a wise ass about it too. I'm sorry, but where I come from, we don't have noncompete agreements with a Starbucks. So, we didn't try the donuts.

So the overall review that we give will make sense as you read it.So my wife and I were pretty excited to try this place out as we read the reviews so we made a 25 min drive to test them out. When we entered, we were pleased at the fact that it was very clean and looked nice. When we turned out attention to the display case were were extremely dissapointed with the variety of donuts available expecially since the past reviews displayed some donuts that we absolutely wanted to try. The person instructed us that this is what they typically make at this time of year...real shame as there are still snowbirds down here including us. The donuts that we did choose were excellent, we would have just prefered a heads up that "hey...we only have these 2 cake donuts and none of the rest...and both were plain cake donuts pretty much. We are here until mid March so I guess if we are in the area at that time we will drive by and look in the window to see if the display case is full...just a let down.UPDATE - Updated the Stars as well:Owner got back to me and informed me that I could in fact order whatever donut I like that they made and the cost would be whatever the regular walk in price was. My wife are doing this now for the second time and I can say we are extremely pleased. It would be nice to just walk in and purchase them rather than order them, but we understand the whole "off season" thing with supply and demand so for now we are satisfied. We will try again in March when they come into season to see how their selection is. We still do believe offering more than 2 cake donuts even during the off season should be done....City Donuts for now is at least the special Order..dont miss out!

I was so looking forward to this experience! My husband and I checked out their menu online before choosing them, and it was based on the menu and pictures. Well we were totally disappointed when we walked in and more than half of the display case was empty. And there were NO cake donuts. I don't like raised donuts at all. There wasn't a glazed croisant or any other options. We were told this was a limited winter menu... So why was'nt this noted online? Why no cake donuts?OK, so I picked a vanilla filled donut, just to have something to try. It was nice, light, fluffy, and tasty. BTW, I have worked many years in a donut and coffee shop and have high expectations. Had I been able to order a cake donut, I am sure probably would have given a higher rating and ordered a dozen. Missed opportunity! The shop was clean, cute decor, and they had a bit of quirkiness that I like.

Very tasty donuts...a bit on the pricey side, so be prepared. One apple fritter can feed three people!

Donuts done right! The staff member was very nice, engaging and helpful. The ambiance was fun. The donuts were fresh and old school… If you like a good donut - stop in. They also have a variety of drinks and make the donuts into a slider… Would be fun for a generous dessert or fun date with family and friends!

My partner and I went on a random impromptu dessert date. He got the bama slamma I think it was called. It was salted caramel ice cream in a glazed donut with Cinnamon Toast Crunch pieces and whipped cream. I got the plain Jane with birthday cake ice-cream and whipped cream. His was a bit too much sweetness but mine was perfect! This was our first time eating Icecream and donuts and it was so good! Would def go back next time we're in the area.
