If you want some local fish and chips, look no further, this is the spot. The breading on the fried fish and shrimp was very good, not greasy. It's great they bring you a bunch of small containers with horseradish in them, you add the ketchup and Worcestershire to make your own cocktail sauce to your liking. Serving sizes were nice, service was great, prices were great. They seemed to always be busy, which says a lot.

We had dinner at Doc's the shrimp is awesome. We has the Fried Shrimp dinner. The Shrimp was very good battered lightly & fried . The french fries were great crispy and fluffy inside awesome coleslaw. Big portions and we will be back. It was reasonable on the price.It was a dining experience we made our own cocktail sauce.Next time i will try their fried fish & shrimp again maybe a biwl of their gumbo.They have gumbo ready to take home for $18 plus tx

Thank you Doc's for redeeming our vacation dinners. We have been stuck with subpar food and surly waitstaff but tonight, was wonderful! Our waitress Julie C made us feel welcomed and the grilled shrimp was absolutely amazing and just what I wanted. We will definitely come here again!

Overpriced a tourist spot in a tourist place. They advertise the best in the world fried shrimp. Old doc must be a proctologist. He needs to get out more. There are better & less money not to far away. Service not friendly at least the place didn't smell bad but atmosphere OH Well. I took mine & went down by the water & ate in the car with a beautiful waterfront view. That's atmosphere !It is close to Southern Rose Boat Rides Dolphin Cruises about a mile away which is why I came.

We split the combo plate with fried shrimp and fried fish. Shrimp were great, french fries were great, fish not so great. Why would the filet be tough?.. couldn't cut it with a knife. With 2 ice teas, tip and tax 50 bucks. Not 5 stars today.

Ok food in a super busy restaurant. I ordered the grilled fish which was three slabs of uniformly shaped filets. Obviously frozen fish not fresh caught. Fried shrimp was tasty, but not local shrimp. Hush puppies were yummy. Will not go again due to frozen fish and not local shrimp. Server forgot our drinks until we tagged him when he served our plates.
Sea restaurant frequented by city residents and very few tourists and the food is really delicious, everything is very fresh, the fish has an exquisite flavor.Simple place and very nice and attentive staff

My husband ordered a lunch special (fried fish) I ordered fried scrimp and the kid (4yo & 1 yo) ate fried scrimp / fried chicken. We all LOVED the food. We are not big sea food people and are not from the south but we would definitely come again! The portions are huge! Price was a little higher than I expected but they honored a military discount which was awesome. Friendly staff and quick service. I didn’t see it on the menu but as we left we saw an offer for an appetizer special I would definitely recommend trying that special for only $15!

I didn’t believe it when they said they had the best fried shrimp in civilization cause restaurants always say that stuff but it was honestly the best shrimp I’ve ever had. The whole experience was great and they were quick.They brought out our drinks along with pitchers of said drink so we didn’t have to wait for refills.I will be back next time I’m near a doc’s
