I had to update my review unfortunately. It was a 4 and is now a 2. Our food tonight was not good. We got the Grouper Special and it was totally overcooked and dry. The risotto wasn't creamy. The green beans were the best thing on our dinner plate. The bread they gave us before dinner was stale cornbread. Weird. Our server was nice and attentive and the hostess was very sweet. The food totally lacked everything.

The wait was very long but it was to be expected as there was a car/truck show happening. The food was not good at all. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, it was rubbery and taste as if they had it sitting in the grease ? We ordered seafood pasta with pretty much only shrimp and it was watery and flavorless ? I want to acknowledge that the Cajun egg rolls were very tasty but that’s it’s! I would not recommend this place at all!

Went here as a family of 7, and the food was amazing. The server was wonderful and attentive. The shrimp and grits are delicious. We all loved the bread pudding dessert.

Awful…just awful. Waitress was indifferent, and drink orders took forever. I ordered an appetizer as my meal and emphasized to bring it with his meal…they didn’t. It came 15 minutes prior to my husband’s meal. I barely touched it. The ‘Bama’ burger was a sad patty on an oversized bun with no visible toppings and overcooked. No need for a takeout box…A quarter pounder w/cheese at any fast food restaurant would be better. I should’ve taken more notice of all the barely eaten plates of food being cleared from other tables upon entering. Very disappointing as we love visiting the Wharf here in Orange Beach. Do better…we left hungry and pissed.

They cooked what my son and I caught that day. Food was good, along with the wait staff.

Everything is amazing from the food down to the service. It is even dog friendly which is great. If your in Alabama go to the Ginny lane restaurant in the Wharf. 10/10 would go again.Kid-friendliness: They have a kid menu’s for the kids and the staff is Amazing.

Poor service. Server took a long time to get to table. We were 1 of maybe 4 tables at that time. She rang order in wrong and had to be reminded to bring bread. Most of the food was good. The potato casserole was described as cheesy chunks of potatoes. It was dry, not cheesy and came out cold. Refills were hard to get.

I'll get the three stars for atmosphere or if the way. I enjoy the lady singing karaoke to entertain us. Secondly, I am not into the sportsbar atmosphere when I'm being served such an amazing dinner.Courtney, our server, was very attentive to our needs. Although this was her first night serving, she was very knowledgeable of the items on the menu, and was able to describe the dish I was thinking about getting. And, YES, my blackened shrimp with watermelon mint salad was amazing. My friends filet was cooked perfectly. I will be back.

I ordered the shrimp basket, my wife ordered the crab cake. The menu said the shrimp basket came with just fries so I ordered the house salad also. When the shrimp basket came it had fries and coke slaw, no side salad. Shrimp was plentiful but rubbery. Still edible. Fries and coke slaw were fine. Wife's crab cake was just mushy. The server stopped by and I pointed out no side salad. He said he would make sure I didn't pay for it. As we finished the meal a different server showed up with salad. I told him it was cancelled. When the server brought me the bill he pointed out that he had saved me money by taking the salad off the bill. The salad that I didn't eat that came at the end of the meal. They were busy though.
