It was lunch time on Christmas Eve. The regular restaurants we usually frequent were closed. We were so LUCKY! We ate salads, edamame, and sushi rolls. Rainbow roll my favorite; spicy tuna had the perfect amount of heat; Ocean's eleven was fresh and fabulous. Portions were generous, fish and avacado were plentiful.

My daughter and I went to Master Joe’s for dinner. The service was lacking, no one to greet or seat you , we finally seated ourselves. They were not busy, a few customers. Shortly after we placed our order our appetizer came out but they neglected to bring the eating utensils. Had to wait till someone showed back up to get their attention, appetizer was half cold by then. Food arrived and was OK, 3 sushi rolls. It may have been a bad night for them but I will not be going back. I don’t recommend!

Excellent. At first blush, some of the sushi roll combinations appear to be a little over the top and maybe a bit much - but Master Joe knows what he is doing. During my last visit, I sampled the sushi pizza and it was surprisingly fantastic.

Great sushi! Extremely fresh fish. I ordered ahead online but because I was playing in the State USTA Championship Playoffs, my match kept me from getting to the restaurant before they close between lunch and dinner. I called the number Google has but it’s not the correct number. Fortunately, the owner called me! I was able to pick it up during their dinner hours and she made everything all over again to be sure it was fresh! Highly recommend their sushi!!!

Not sure how this place has gotten good reviews for bad sushi. out of our entire order, only the crab wontons were worth eating.. both chef special rolls were drowned in sauce and the seafood used was not fresh. should have known that this was not going to be a good experience based on how empty the restaurant was. all this for $80! this was the worst sushi we have had!

I had dined at Master Joe’s in Daphne a few years ago and was excited to see the location in Orange Beach. I am sad to say it is nowhere near the same. I ordered 3 rolls, $50 in sushi that was thrown in the trash after a few bites. It was disgusting. I should have known something was up when I arrived and no one was in the restaurant. It was obviously just thrown together with whatever was on hand. All 3 rolls were inedible. I’m not sure why it is so much different at this location, but it was quite a disappointment. The sushi at Publix would have been much better than this. Horrible!

Good sushi. Wasn't crowded even in the middle of the booming tourist time. That could be because of its location. Sushi and Sake was what we were looking for and exactly what we got.

After reading the reviews, we decided to give this place a try. We went a little early hoping that it wasn't too busy. Well we called that right. We we got there, there were only another couple there. By the time we left, there were people waiting outside to get in. The night we went, there were plenty of helpful, happy servers. Our server was very attentive and kept our glasses full. The sushi rolls that we order were fresh and tasty. I did notice that there was only one sushi chef while we were there. He stayed busy and I'm sure he was like that all night. Overall, we had great service and awesome sushi rolls. We would definitely be back.

Food was delicious, waitress was a sweetheart.Only complaint is, family of 6 and our dinner came out on 2 plates, instead of 6 different plates for 6 different orders! We had to guess who had what then transfer it to our plate!Other than that it was delicious!
