I picked up some food Togo tonight. I got shrimp scampi. I was so delicious!! The flavor was amazing and everything was cooked perfect! Will definitely try eating there again next time I visit!!

Carmelo’s was unfortunately a huge disappointment! Atmosphere was excellent - but food was really poor in most respects. Pasta was dry, veal was over cooked, we could not eat the veal parmagana. Thought a cappuccino would save the occasion - but what was served was primarily frothed milk. The waiter said he did not know how to make it so he asked another server to help. Think about the idea that a cappuccino in an Italian Resturant was not correct or drinkable as coffee. Deserts were frozen pre-prepared items - Could not eat tiramisu cake. The “manager” came over and said he wouldtake unsatisfactory items off the bill but this was not our purpose in speaking out. We often dine out in OBA on special occasions. There are a number of great restaurants in OBA and we had high expectations for Carmelo’s. There will have to be major food quality improvements if it is to survive long term.

Food and service are great, but beware that the management owners have instructed the bartenders to be stingy on wine pours, and they only serve expensive Italian wines. The wine price points are higher here and there is no need to pour short glasses. Otherwise, it's a great place!

Our group had the spaghetti & meatballs, spaghetti carbonara & chicken Parmesan. Everyone enjoyed their meal & side salads. The bread was delicious. Great wine, too. We will be back!
