The food was hot ? and quick. We went in on a Tuesday for lunch. All the staff was friendly and helpful to us. We had our 7 year old daughter with us and she's quite the picky eater. She had the chicken fingers and fries. She really enjoyed them. We ended up ordering two of the cheese biscuits and they were phenomenal as always. I ordered the brisket Mac and cheese, my husband ordered the pork bbq plate. They were both delicious ? ?. Overall experience was ? recommend and amazing.

Felt like I was at a McDonald's instead of a Jim'n'Nicks as soon as I walked in the door. Except, McDonald's doesn't have a tip jar on the counter for before you even get your food. Asked for cheddar biscuits to go and they were brought out with the meal. Asked if they didn't have wait staff and told to just ask anyone if we needed anything. Had to get your own drink and asked the girl to bring me a to go box and extra ketchup when they brought out the meal and only got a box. I usually like hot fries with ketchup. Not cold fries with no ketchup. The one waitress that was in the dining room finally came around and asked if we were STILL doing OK when that was the FIRST TIME we had seen her. I told her that I had asked for ketchup when my fries were hot and never got anything. She offered to bring replacement fries or a dessert and I told her no. I know what can happen if you complain about your food and since I felt like I was at a McDonald's I wasn't going to chance anything. Needless to say I will have to be desperate for BBQ before I go back to this particular restaurant.

We arrived around 7:30PM and they close at 9PM. Stood in line for 10 minutes to place our order. Had only 1 of 2 registers open with 2 employees working it. Food was fast and good.While we were eating, 2 employees started sweeping the dinning room around us. One of them banging the broom into the dust pan loundly. He even asked my wife to lift her feet so he can sweep under them. This was with our food still on the table. Then they started moving tables around us until I finally said something about the terrible noise. There was no manager to be seen or if there was one, they do not watch the front of the house or train wait staff.

I order Karl's Catfish plate online it is $13.99 and I was charged $19.99 . I ask what is the difference and she said because I got to 2 pieces of fish. But my order looked just like What I ordered that was online . The cashier just parked us and didn't want to talk about it anymore. Also no tarter sauce. I will go to Top of The River when I want fish next time. I got rip off of $6.00 dollars. This is ridiculous!!!!!

If you are OK with sacrificing decent service for decent food, then you’ll love it. Waiter spent 30 seconds looking for our table to deliver our food and didn’t see us immediately, so he proceeded to go back to the kitchen and set our food down for another 10 minutes. I finally went up and handed them our ticket and asked it if was our food. It surely was. No silverware/napkins, no one cleaning tables, no soap in the bathroom. Good luck.

I’ve had better BBQ at a Texas gas station. Tiny portions, tough meat, burnt chili, and outrageous prices for what you get. The tiny bit of food in the pic with a beer came to over $40 before tip. If it tasted amazing I could see it, maybe…but not for this canned ham with ketchup.Very disappointed. Crew did a good job of serving up the slop, but there’s no way I’d come back for more. Wish I would’ve went to Burger King.

I would give this place a ten out of ten. I will definitely go back to try other items. My coworkers had the brisket, greens and macaroni and also said how amazing it was.Update: I ordered yesterday for delivery Mac brisket greens and added the beans. I'm a Nola girl and i know good food. Whoever they have in the kitchen keep em. My food yesterday was amazing!!!!!!

Last time I was here it was great.I finished my wings, the $21 brisket was still on the table & I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. I had planned on doing the receipt survey & mentioning the bad brisket when I got back to my table. When I came out after washing my hands my table including the barely touched brisket & my receipt had been cleared & everyone was busy. So I just left.2nd time here. If it wasn't for the wings & the white sauce I probably wouldn't come back.
