My waitress was awesome. The food was tasty. I had a vegetable plate. However the food wasn’t hot, it was barely warm. Also, Cracker Barrel has cut back on vegetable portions so much. I got pinto beans, fried okra( could’ve been cooked longer), and fried apples(maybe four slices). The cornbread wasn’t cooked enough and it wasn’t hot enough to melt the butter. Otherwise it was fine.

What happened?!?!I've been eating at CB for decades, 99% at breakfast.The last year or so it's gone downhill, at least in Bama. I've had three nearly inedible breakfasts in the last couple months. NOT a hard meal to cook but they manage to serve cold, poorly seasoned food now...and portions have shrunken.I'm not alone because...well, I AM nearly alone because its not popular any more.People vote with their feet and wallets. I think CB will go the way of all poorly run restaurants.Buh Bye.

Meatloaf was SUPER tiny and dry.My pancakes had STICKY grill flecks all throughout them.I am glad it wasn't very busy but some of the girls were super loud in the back.
