The crust is tasty, delicately crisp, great taste, and the inside ingredients were cooked to perfection.They also have a card you can get. Make purchases, get the card marked, and eventually you will earn free pies.The owners son greeted us and he has a super kind personality and a beautiful smile. I appreciate great customer service and he had it. That alone had me willing to return soon.It helps to call in your order or order online because we waited. No big deal because it didn't take too long. It was certainly worth the wait.They also have a veggie style pie if anyone is interested. It was enjoyed by our daughter who doesn't care for mushrooms but she at it all.

Mama Suz's home style apple fried pie was the only bite of food that instantly took me back to northern childhood nostalgic bliss. The spices, texture, and flavor of their apple fried pie transported me to the time where I was a kid eating a fresh apple cinnamon doughnut with fresh hot cider at the cider mill in the Michigan snow. It is a must stop if you happen to be lucky enough to pass through this quaint southern town. Pies made with love 10/10, 100% will eat again.

Although you can call ahead, order your first fried apple pie in person and eat it hot! The portion size is perfect. Not over seasoned. Delicate, flaky crust. Plump center. $4 sounded about $1.50 too high until I got halfway through. I want blueberry next.
