New owners changed too much!! Loved it a few months ago now it has become greasy, frozen food, less veges with cheap ingredients!! We loved the sweet and sour sauce, now it's just a packet. Ordered lunch to go for six and was only given enough utensils/packets/cookies for 3!!!! We will find a new place. ☹️??

Dinner at China Garden was awesome the atmosphere so relaxing the music was just right and the young lady who was the server she was the best he helped me out gave me information on how to order and recommended some things and I did try the house chicken it was delicious I truly recommend people to visit China Garden it's a little hidden treasure I love Hidden Treasures and I love this place please check it out on your next Hunger for Chinese one other thing being from California I like egg foo young and it is so hard to find at least two cities Georgia and Alabama but China Garden has egg fool Young!!! I did not order it last night but I will very soon...Returning back to this beautiful cozy quiet peaceful relaxing and enjoyable restaurant the food is delicious I cannot seem to deviate from the house chicken so I'm back to have it once again by myself Healthcare Zen mode enjoying the peacefulness if you want a little cozy quiet comfortable meal you must come here I absolutely love this place 2/28/2024

I went in around 8pm with my wife and a friend.I've gone to this place alot whenever I was a kid and I remember the food was always amazing, but not tonight. I had heard the quality of the food had dropped, and it absolutely has.The last time I went was about 4 years ago.I always got the Sesame chicken, but it was absolutely disgusting. And on top of that, there were roaches crawling around by our booth.I started feeling sick and we left. As soon as I got home, I vomited what little I ate. Needless to say I wont be coming back anymore, which is a huge shame.

I wouldn't recommend dine in at least. Salt and pepper shakers are dirty and sticky. Soy sauce containers are the same. Tables dirty. It was towards the end of their lunch time and I would love to say that they were just busy, but that wasn't the case. He crude on the shakers takes a while to build up. Oh yeah we got rushed out.

The food was absolutely terrible. The orange chicken was the same as sweet and sour chicken very soggy and not an ounce of flavor. The chicken fried rice was steamed white rice with frozen peas, carrots and a dash of chicken. The hot chili oil was old fry oil with some red pepper flakes at the bottom. However the people were very nice.

This place is me and my wife's favourite Chinese restaurant, it's so good! And the servers are really nice. My favorite meal there is Szechuan Beef, I highly recommend it! It's spicy but absolutely delicious, with what tastes like a peanut sauce. And they have the best Egg-Drop Soup! ?

Been coming here since I was a child. Went in tonight and placed a to go order. They no longer have chicken and corn soup. Disappointed. I ordered an order of egg rolls (comes with 2) and 2 dinners: House Chicken and Mongolian Chicken. I got home went to fix fix plates, no rice. The dinners used to come with white rice. Did that change, too? The egg rolls were different, they didn't taste homemade like they did. New ownership, just not the same. I called up there to make sure I'd get my rice before driving back, and they're closed. At 8PM on Sundays. So now I'm cooking white rice, so we can eat dinner. Not impressed.

We've been searching all around Phenix City for some good Chinese food, but we've been very unlucky in our search. We tried China Garden recently, and it was a very disappointing experience. The place itself feels a little sketchy because there are no windows and when you walk in the front door, you are in a dimly lit hallway - you've got to go down and around the corner before you actually turn into the restaurant. We just did a take out order, so there's not much to say about the service - the food was ready quickly and waiting for us when we arrived, the gentleman running the register was friendly in assisting me with my transaction. We hoped that this would be the good Chinese food we had been looking for, but when we sat down to eat at home, we discovered it definitely was not good food. It was bland, tasted like it was freezer burnt or had been reheated poorly. Dry when it shouldn't have been, runny sauces, messy presentation. It was so bad we didn't even eat the leftovers - and if you love Chinese food like I do, you know that leftovers - when it's good Chinese food - leftovers are so enjoyable! But we didn't enjoy any of it when eating and both agreed that this was close to the worst of Chinese restaurants we've tried in the area, unfortunately.
If you ever wanted to know what vomit tasted like come here and order your food it was sooo bad that I took on bite of my food and literally could not eat no more the food was hard and it tasted almost like it had been recooked from the previous day I mean it literally tasted like stale fried food and the food looks and taste nothing like what you expected it to be

I just ordered orange chicken and sesame chicken. Both looked exactly the same except for the sauces! Over breaded chicken nuggets drizzled with tons of sauce to cover taste of the poorly tasting breaded chicken! Used to get offered soup with every order too, but not this time either! Sub par now will go else where!

To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. The food smelled weird and tasted old, was definitely not fresh. I ordered fried rice and got white rice with extra veggies. I will never get food from here again.
