We went to a wedding on Saturday night that was catered by Grit and Grind and the food was so good we had to go back for breakfast on Sunday. The owner Chris and his staff give A++ service and the food is even better. If I could give 1,000 star review I

Did you know that most small towns don't have breakfast diners anymore? We are so lucky to have multiple options for breakfast in Phenix City, AL/Columbus, Ga. Grit and Grind sits at the top of our breakfast restaurant list along with Cafe 431 and First Watch. Today, we had the pleasure of Larrissa being our waitress, and she was quick and attentive. The food and service was well worth the money. I had the biscuit with chicken and tomato gravy yummmmm!!! Our waitress was awesome!! I did get a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Coffee hoped it was as good as my son and daughters coffee but nope...totally disgusting. I literally got sick from it at Winn-Dixie when we left...only had 2 sips of it. Took it home to strains some of the cinnamon out of it and was really grossed out...globs of slimy ewwww...
