We have been patrons of this restaurant for nearly 30 years. The quality, value and atmosphere have decline over the entire time. Prices have doubled potions have diminished and there are no longer any redeeming qualities. The restrooms are disgusting, the treat their staff poorly. Out of principles alone, I would not recommend this place. However, I will withhold recommendation on quality, taste, value and cleanliness. Horrible.

GREAT FOOD!!! I've been coming here since 1999 (my college spot). I have traveled the world but it's the closest taste to my authentic Mexican family's RANCH STYLE cooking. How great was their food? I once witnessed Ramon Ayala and his touring crew, eating here. It's the closest you'll get to Mexico taste in the LA suburb area. When the female owner managed this location, she was outstanding in management, customer service and overall small town hospitable excellence. Unfortunately, throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the taste in their food, new management, and overall experience is undoubtedly affecting the establishment. Their signature homemade tortillas are no longer as "fresh" as they used to be, and their overall menu taste has changed (e.g., greasy). Today I traveled from Los Ángeles to this location, only to be told that it would be a 30-min. wait for one person, during brunch time. Okay, that's understandable; it's a busy time. I came back at 5:00 p.m. (after the Raider game) stood at the register for approximately 5-min. the place was moderately busy, but the waitresses and staff walked by me without acknowledging my presence, therefore I left. "Se ha perdido el valor de la bienvenida cultural que se manifestaba en todo aspecto de este restaurante. Ese sentimiento de hospitalidad que solamente se suele ofrecer en nuestro ambiente familiar Mexicano. Estos son los detalles que extraño. Por supuesto que seguiré viniendo a apoyar este negocio que me ha alimentado sutilmente a través de los años, pero de aquí en adelante, solamente para ordenar comida para llevar." :)

Very small dining room, reminds you of a mom and pop operation, BUT THE FOOD OMG, THE FOOD WAS SPECTACULAR (eat it hot). Not recommend for take out only because of the loss of quality, eat it hot. If the dining room is filled I would order and eat it hot in the parking lot.

My very 1st time here. My cousin brought my father & I here on the recommendation that he brought his father & our Aunt Frances here. Knowing how exceeding picky & hard to please those two were made this an easy choice. Let me say that food wise, the restaurant deserves 5 stars. The flavour, presentation, and temperature alone deserve repeat visits. I had the carnitas (excellent!), my cousin & father had the machaca (plates wiped clean), tortillas are brought in a warmer that is shared by the table (tortillas are handmade & delicious). The servers, while desperately understaffed, try to keep up with the tables and their needs with a great attitude. My pet peeves with the restaurant are solely my own. Unfortunately the restaurant hasn't seen a chotskey they couldn't live without, and they're everywhere. Figurines; dolls; vases; bowls; posters; autographed photos; neon signs; tiles, and on & on. It gives the restaurant a cluttered & dirty appearance despite the fact it is extremely clean. Will I go back??? Of course I will!!!

WARNING*** If you're coming early morning when it opens up just a warning there's only one waitress.. we had to wait literally almost 15 to 20 minutes before I got up and asked if there was another waitress because we had a doctor's appointment and we're in a hurry.. She was busy talking laughing with another customer seem like she was bothered because I kindly asked her if she can take our order.. WILL NEVER come here again customer service is HORRIBLE

Hadn't been in years. The food used to be good however they're Under New Management and I didn't get a chance to try because they're no longer serving margaritas or any type of alcohol

This place is literally down the street from my house, so I had high expectations for it. Hoping it could be my new "spot". Unfortunately I left in disappointment. Let me start by saying that the table salsa that comes with the chips was deliciously spicy. But everything else fell apart. My friend and I were craving margaritas and that's how we ended up here. We ordered two margaritas with two added shots of tequila. Only to find out (after we took the shots) that the tequila was "tequila wine", not real tequila! Do you think our server could've told us that when we ordered them?? I mean, I specifically asked for two added shots of "Tequila". We were both craving Chicken Flautas. I ordered the Chicken Flautas plate, and my friend ordered just two Chicken Flautas a la carte, because he didn't want the rice and beans. The only difference between our two plates was a small portion of beans and rice on my plate. When I got the bill that's when I was shocked to discover that there was a $4.50 difference between our entrees. They charged me $4.50 for a small portion of rice and beans?? Just ridiculous!

This place is never equipped to handle a crowd. Came here at 8 o'clock Sunday morning it was one waitress. Do you want to stay in business you got to take care of your Clients. No one comes here to spend two hours waiting.

If I could rate this restaurant 0 stars, honestly I would. EXTREMELY terrible service. My husband and I waited for about TWO HOURS for our food, NEVER received it, ask the lady about our food, for her to FINALLY speak on that she lost our order, well like the receipt to it. So they never input our order to start making it. She caught an attitude when it was her fault. Poor service and the way things are done in this restaurant. Do better.

Worst service , we waited over thirty minutes and there was a Hispanic young man letting his friends in first and large parties, and we had been there way longer. We have been coming here over twenty years .where's the owner? We are not coming back
