I am a truck driver and I was riding by this location at lunch time. Nice laid back staff great quick service. I grabbed a to go plate of a half a chicken,beans, and fries everything was on point. Oh I killed that chicken twice thanks boss hog for the fantastic lunch
Boss Hogg is likely the best ribs anywhere, Boss Wilmer is a wonderful man. Their pit is old school out behind the restaurant. His sauce is GREAT, his coleslaw is GREAT. The building is dated but decently clean, needs updating. Likely once Boss passes on, gem will be lost forever. It is worth a drive to experience real old school BBQ.
