Our first opportunity to visit this place was for a company party this past week, and it was an excellent experience. The dining hall had an amazing energy. It felt like we were attending the king's feast in the ballroom of a middle ages castle. Based on the fact that the meal was prepared ahead of time for a room full of people, it was very good. My only complaint could be the fact I couldn't get the attention of our server when I wanted Worcestershire sauce, and they had only offered A1 and Heinz 57. The steak didn't actually need anything additional, so I have no legitimate complaint. Due to limited hours of operation, it's a shame that we don't have the opportunity to frequent this established regularly.

We celebrated my mom's birthday at Red Clay Table this past week. I can't tell you how helpful, courteous, respectful and professional the staff were to her.The food was delicious! They also handled our large party with dexterity and ease. It was actually one of the *best* experiences dining out with friends and family, ever!

Had a wonderful dinner tonight with two great waitresses. Samantha and Madison- food was prepared just right, service was great didn’t have to ask for refills. Salmon dip was fabulous. Had filet and salmon and both were cooked and seasoned perfectly !

Food was well seasoned and flavorful with a varied selection on the men to suit most anyone. The downtown Sheffield that's been revitalized is beautiful. The restaurant blends in well to the vibe the street gives off. It was well decorated and put together on the inside, but there are tvs at the tables. I wasn't sure what the televisions were for, but it takes away from the upscale look of the inside of the restaurant. The hostess was sweet and friendly as soon as we walked in. After being seated we were given 1 menu. We had our drinks ( water and a glass of wine) right away. We ordered an appetizer and received that, but didn't get checked on by the waitress after that. We were left alone long enough that we flagged the hostess down to get our waitress so we could order our dinner. The appetizer came out , followed shortly by the salads and then the entree. It was all really hot and fresh and tasted good. The entree was on a really large plate making the portion look small. Side note, the restaurant definitely gives off Bougie vibes but the hostess/waitstaff wears tshirts and leggings and Nikes. It was just a weird mix between is this a fancy restaurant or like diner vibe. I would say give it a try just because the food is good.

I was disappointed with the steak. Very tough piece. I didn't complain and I didn't send it back. So that's on me. I'm very willing to go back and try it again. But next time, shrimp boil. That looked great. Table service was wonderful.

Felt very rushed. Salad and entrees were delivered at the same time. Filet was not cooked properly - bleeding when I ordered it cooked medium. Did not ask if we wanted any more to drink, if we wanted dessert or if everything was ok. Very disappointing experience. Will not go back. There were many open tables and not a wait so being busy cannot be an excuse.
The restaurant staff were hospitable and efficient. The meals were well prepared with generous portions. Service was excellent. We enjoyed our first time visit and hope to return.

I haven’t been had the chance to visit this place more than twice, but I think about it all the time. It’s so unique, and both the food and the decor really have character. A perfect romantic yet affordable date spot- I hope to visit again soon!

Their Shrimp & Grits are excellent. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasing, an attractive setting.The staff was very accommodating, they ensured that we were satisfied with our meals. We had a group of 10 or so and all were pleased with their meals.Meals were Fish, Filet Mignon, and Chicken.PS, the management came out to greeted us.

They didn’t put any cheese in the shrimp and grits so it wasn’t very good to me. The shrimp was in some kind of brownish grey gravy. I won’t have that again if I ever go back.
