10/10 do NOT recommend. I got a sushi roll and a vegetable hibachi. To put it shortly, it was probably the worst hibachi and roll I’ve had (took one bite and was finished.

The food was amazing, and the portions were a lot bigger than I expected.
Disappointed...we've been coming here for over 3 years. Everyone deserves a bad night but this was a little over the top. The cucumber salad was wilted. The sweet and sour sauce for the crab Rangoons was lacking something, can't put my fin on it. The sushi rolls were missing the main ingredient of fish, plus the cucumbers again were poor in quality. The rice was chewy/starchy and did not seem fresh. The owner gave us 15% off the Rangoons and took off the cucumber salad. Then they turned on the heat, it was about 60 degrees outside. Didn't think to fire up the burners without customers in the restaurant? It stunk up the whole place. Again we're disappointed and hope for better next time!?!

Since moving to the Spanish Fort area, I was craving a great sushi restaurant. Oishi Japanese Sushi Bar and Grill exceeded my expectations for sushi because the sushi is fresh, delicious, and fairly priced. I eat here about twice a month and the staff is always friendly and courteous. I highly recommend Oishi Japanese Sushi Bar and Grill to anyone who enjoys sushi if they are in the Mobile area.
