We had a little of long wait folie to the waitress was overwhelmed with the crowd but the replacement waiter was absolutely awesome. He took care of us better than any other server that we've ever had in over 20years of dining at this restaurant.

We ate here today, and as usual, it was great!! I love Boudreaux's favorite and got one to go home, but for the 3rd time, no Boudreaux's sauce!? I called to let them know, but they always said you needed to check your order before you leave! That's just not right!!! Oh, I will always return. LOVE the food it's the BEST!

Fried flounder was amazing. Service from Erica was above and beyond. She seated us at the window without us even asking and pointed out the wildlife to my girlfriend and

I have been to the oyster house several times and each time service has been good… tonight on this particular night I can’t say that it was… As someone in the industry I understand the importance of customer service but from the get go we tried to sit at the bar and the bartender Pamela was clearly annoyed and simply in a rush to get her shift over with and tried to direct us to the tables on the other side, when we told her we wanted to sit at the bar the energy and vibe immediately shifted, we just wanted to sit at the bar get a drink or 2 and eat some oysters and watch a little bit of the NBA playoffs… she was cut and dry, we tried asking about certain items and got short answers, after we ordered our food she pulled every chair out from around us and swept, and vacuumed under our feet as if to indicate “Please hurry we’re closing soon” … I understand to a certain extent, but we aren’t those people who come in 10 minutes before closing… when our food came we had to constantly ask for appetizer plates and crackers for our oysters, I called her out on it and told her the food was okay but the service was terrible, she asked why and I respectfully gave her my reasoning, she tried to become apologetic and explain how she had been there all day and was ready to go.. But honestly that wasn’t my concern because you still have a shift to finish, my mind had already been made up to write this review.. These are the type of employees that will take an establishment under if management doesn’t do something to correct the situation before it becomes a bigger problem moving forward.

First time eating here! I was not impressed at all. The coleslaw needs work, not sweet at all & very dry. If you are looking for good coleslaw popeyes or the catfish house is where it's at. The shrimp poboys were such a huge disappointment. Those little bity tiny shrimp full of shrimp poop are the cheapest shrimp you can buy from the grocery store. Absolutely no flavor at all . Again you want a tasteful shrimp poboy with big shrimp go to the catfish house ....$15 for a $4 bag of shrimp. Huge disappointment. Will not be eating here again. The crawfish pies come from a box at your local rouses. I buy them all the time. There's nothing original about this place. Food took forever to come out.

Came out here on a suggestion from a colleague. I ended up having the crab cakes, one was fried and one was baked. They were both really good l, and the service was very good.

While staying at the state park, I took a drive over to the Original Oyster House. I had dinner at the bar and the bartender was great. She handled a full bar very professionally and efficiently. I met some great people while enjoying my cocktail. My stuffed shrimp dinner was excellent. The atmosphere and the staff were great and I really enjoyed this place.

Food was great. The server was great but the time from the order to the table was over an hour. They were very busy and we had a table of 16 but sill an hour plus after waiting an hour to be seated is a bit much. I will still go back but not with a group.

They charged an added 20% gratuity without any notification. There was no sign in the door, there was no sign on the counter, there was nothing on the menu saying that there will be a 20% gratuity charge. I was invited as part of a retirement party for a gentleman, and they had us each pay for our own. And then they hit me with an extra 20% without any kind of warning. I think such activity should be illegal.
