The best catfish and fried green tomatoes EVER!!! The attention to detail, like refilling your tea and making sure everything is to your liking. It is a very busy restaurant that handles well with a beeper upon checkin. There is no waiting room, some seating outside. This is well worth the wait.

We drove up to Springville specifically to tryout the Farmhouse cuisine (Lunch). I must say their Fried Pork Chops with Black Pepper Gravy were outstanding. The Fried Okra and the fresh Squash Cassarole were fabulous, the mash potatoes also delicious. Our waitress Mason hit the Bullseye with her advice and recommendations. The restaurant was unassuming and close to filled with patrons enjoying their meals. Frances and I will be back to enjoy their evening offering very soon. Open 10:30 an til 9:00 pm Tues - Saturday, and til 2 pm Sundays.Parking: 85 Purple Heart Blvd, Springville, AL 35146

The food here is always decent, sometimes it's great, but I can say that it's never bad. The prices are great compared to the amount of food you get.

This was our first time here. We spent well over $100 for four people. The food was great. Serving sizes of meat was great. The hamburger steak was really good and the small salad was really good. The fried pork chops were excellent and so was the grilled pork chop. It was the best.Everything was good and the service was too.All was good UNTIL we killed one of the bad infestation roaches right on the wall by our plate. We told the waitress- she said she’d tell the owner. We should have gotten at least part of our money refunded. That’s just incredibly gross.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and had to make smart choices. Nothing fried for me so a salad and mashed potatoes and hamburger steak it was. They have salads and some veggie choices and of course meat that are all gluten free.

Creative chef specials weekly, great burgers, steaks, sandwiches, & southern food! The service is by far the best around with a homey feel.

Our first time there. The food was good sized portions. The hamburger steak was good. I didn't like the onions on it. The other three in our party, had pork chops. Grilled pork chops were great and the fried. The honey onion rings were like just frozen onion rings with honey drizzled on them. Nothing special at all. The side salad was loaded and so good. I'm gluten free so I had to eat things that had no gluten and the choices were good. We ate and got full. Then a roach crawled from the wall to the friggin table. So gross and we got disgusted. It's those small ones that infest so badly. We told the waitress and we didn't even get a discount. We all felt yuk after seeing that at our table. We won't go back.

So where do I start. First let me just warn you, when you pull up you second guest yourself and you wonder is it worth it. Yes, yes it is...go in, you just got to go in..lol. The curbside appeal is not glamorous but when you get in the first thought is oohhh ookkaayyyy, this nice.. The staff is amazing, very pleasant and attentive. So the hubs and I make ourselves comfortable and what catches our eye..the freaking drink prices, y'all I could have put down $20.00 and said get me this worth..lol and I guarantee we both would have been good to go with a variety of drinks.Happy hour drinks are $3.50. Who want be back...chillllddd please. But let me get into the dang on burgers...smash burger on ten..add mustard makes you think Krystal's on steroids. The only recommendation is it wasn't hot like I like my food. The onion rings and fries was good however couldn't get a good taste because it wasn't hot.so maybe next time. The atmosphere family friendly and the service is a ten. Definitely going back ...slapping a Twenty on table next time for happy hour " give me that worth" . Enjoy
