The food is amazing and cooks perfectly. The service is very patient with us and he understands what we need. Also, the dining room and bathroom are very neat. We will come back again when we are in the town.

The food was so good, fresh, and very high quality! The servers were very polite. The prices were amazing considering how awesome the food was. The only problem I have is stopping myself from going every time I come to Sylacauga!

Absolutely excellent! The service was prompt and friendly. The scallop hibachi entree was great! The scallops were cooked perfectly and not overdone/rubbery. The vegetables were tender, but still crisp. My wife had the chicken bento plate. Everything on her plate was tasty and perfectly cooked, as well. The clear soup was tasty, and we loved the ginger dressing on the salads.

My husband and I tried Shogun twice. The service was good. We kept smelling what I can only describe as sewage.. it really killed our appetite and the overall experience. My husband ordered Tonkotsu Ramen with pork. They had no pork. They brought my husband out chicken ramen in what seemed to be a shoyu broth. There was no fish cake, no green onion.. the worst part was the noodles. They were literally instant ramen noodles. Actually, I've bought better quality instant ramen noodles depending on the brand, this was like the cheap 0.99 cent ramen packs you buy at Walmart. I ordered an eel cucumber roll, the cucumber tasted like it had gone bad and was off. Ordered steamed gyoza and it was overcooked and hard, like if you bought cheap premade gyoza and then somehow managed to cook it wrong. The only thing we enjoyed was the presentation (they had nice dishware). This was extremely disappointing and I felt like it certainly wasn't worth the $60 we paid. We won't be back.
