The food is absolutely delicious. Really can't describe any other way. Outdoor seating is pleasant in the spring. A lil pricey but that's everywhere. Definitely will return.

Everyone lines up when MaePop's is open. The potato salad is a sure favorite but they have great choices for sides even though the BBQ is their main feature. Check for the hours but come early if you want some of everything because folks send others and the orders can be large and go fast. That tells you how special this place is.

Met my daughter for lunch and it was delicious. I had the pork and she had the brisket. Both were cooked to perfection. Counter service was crisp and friendly. Some will dislike the outdoor seating, but bbq should be consumed in consumed in old buildings and outdoors.

Havent had REAL BBQ in a while. Everything was delicious. Ribs smoked to perfection, Pulled pork sandwhich needed no sauce whatsoever it stood on its own, Banana pudding was decent, the real star of the show is the brisket Dont leave without getting a sandwich or 2.

This is the best BBQ I've had in Alabama. Brisket sandwich with pickled onions and slaw, outstanding. The sliced smoked turkey is incredible. The brisket had a great smoke ring, clean smoke taste, pull apart tender, beef front and center, well seasoned. I only tried the spicy bbq sauce on the sandwich. So good.
