If you're into ice cold sushi rolls this is the place to go. Also they will be covered in sriracha when it was not stated on the menu. Service was good. But by far not a place to enjoy sushi.

Very flavorful food, soups to donuts. Great friendly service. Seemed a little understaffed for the crowd. But the crowd size fluctuates Sunday to Sunday in this rural town. Odd mix of ocean, hippo, and samari warrior decor, but beautiful kimono and jade statue in entry area. Reasonably priced; boxes and undon as well as milk tea seem to be local favorites.

Was craving for something different from the regular Chinese-American restaurants, and heard that they offer old real authentic Chinese food. To our surprise, they didn’t disappoint us. When we ask for the Chinese menu, the old waiter (guess he’s the owner) handed us one with items in Chinese and all are different from even Chinatown, served with white rice. If you can’t read Chinese, just ask him for recommendations and the food will satisfy your taste, at least in our experience. You can also ask for extra rice without any extra charge. The only problem for us is the service, other than that, everything is great.

Ate here recently and ordered the hibachi steak meal. The soup was good, the salad was just lettuce, but it was fine. The meal itself was ok. The vegetables were just steamed and had no flavor. The rice did not have much flavor either. The steak was still a little pinker than I'd normally get (I asked for medium) and it was covered in sauce. Not sure I'd get it here again.

This use to be my go to place in Troy when I lived close for sushi and fried rice. I decided to stop back by years later for lunch and the quality hasn't changed much at all which is great! The lunch special is where it's at! You can get soup, entree, fried rice and a egg roll for less than $8 on most of the lunch menu. The flavors are on point along with quantity and service was really quick. I've been in and out within 30 min for lunch. My only complaint and it's very minor is maybe updating the menu they look like they were the original ones and definitely have some mileage on them and have sections crossed out. Other than that would highly recommend if you're in the area. They have a wide assortment of Japanese food along with sushi made fresh on order with fresh ingredients.

Golden Krane's regular menu is consistently good. I tend to reorder the same menu items from there and they are always good. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. I tried the sushi this time and it was a letdown, it looked premade and did not taste fresh.
