Ribs were bone dry, pulled pork was cold, bread sucked up every drop of moisture in the meal if any was to be had, the "jumbo" wings would only be jumbo on a housefly and it was about as spicy as chocolate ice cream.Service had a bad attitude, and messed up our order. The only redeeming things to be said is the cornbread was better than fair abd the banana pudding was okay. It is a shame that a servings of each could be covered by a 50 cent peice. We are out of town and travel a lot the one thing we love about traveling is trying a taste of the local flavor. If this is what Tuscaloosa has to offer I will just cook the rest of my time here.

They won my heart and belly! No more Dreamland for me!! We came from Washington state to see my son graduate from UA and he raved about Archibald's BBQ! To sum up our experience---I fell in love with this quaint and tasteful, little BBQ establishment! Great service and reasonably priced!

The locals love it.The bbq sauce is the watery, vinegary type.

Quality is way down, ribs appeared to be old and reheated. Sauce now watered down. Looks like the beginning to the end at this spot. Past experiences here have been ok, but on July 14, 2021 bad product to be trying to sale.

The Chopped Pork had great flavor and was juicy,The Ribs were dry and tough not the falling off the bone one would expect,The Collard Greens were missing something and tasted like they had a bit too much vinegar in them. The Mac and Cheese had a good flavor but seemed a bit dry on the cheese. All in all the Chopped Pork was the best thing on the menu so buying it by the pound is the best option.

Woo boy!!! Now this BBQ is to die for!!! Best BBQ in Alabama. The crust on the ribs makes my heart melt. Tender, juicy, perfect smoke. Haven’t found a better place in Alabama yet.

Probably one of the worst pulled pork sandwiches I've ever eaten. Bread was soaked and soggy. Maybe I just got the wrong thing to eat. Should've gotten ribs or chicken. The service was pretty terrible at that also. Person up front was rude completely non inviting. 10/10 would not recommend.

When we travel from Houston to Tennessee we always make sure to stop here!! Always delicious!!!! My favorite is the wings!!! Husband loves the ribs and pork sandwich. BBQ sauce is delicious!!!

5/28/21 Went here today. The man at the register was rude! He just seemed disgusted with working and customers. Very bad vibes and first impression!!

Wings were good and my daughter liked the ribs (though she is not hard to please when it comes to pork). Sides are a rip off! $2.99 for a side in a tiny foam cup that could serve as a shot glass for my tequila. Mac and cheese was not good and the banana pudding was flavored with banana flavoring, which I think is so disrespectful. Bananas were absent from the pudding. When my sister tasted it she spit it out! Will not be coming back. Do yourself a favor and go to Jim & Nick's.

My first time, I asked for a large coleslaw and I get 2 small containers. I ordered a large rib plate, I received no sauce wasn't asked if I wanted any sauce. I walked 15 minutes to try the bbq and 15 minutes back to my hotel, I wasn't going to walk back for sauce. I won't return and I will tell my group of 40 that it isn't worth the money.

Best ribs since leaving Texas. Great pulled pork as well. Thank you for your friendly welcome. They are doing takeout only to comply with COVID requirements. Works for me. Don't miss this place if you like BBQ. Great prices.
