The wait was brutal. 45 plus minutes to be seated, then about 45 more minutes for food.

Typical Cracker Barrel fare, but I was really impressed with the friendliness and efficiency of the hostess, waitress and cashier. They each made us feel welcomed and treated us like we were old friends despite the fact that we were from out of town.

Food was really good after we finally got it. We used to eat at this Crackle Barrel almost every week but now the service has gotten so slow we do not go very often.

The person sitting coustmers tells everyone a 25 min wait with most tables empty.. a manager needs to sit people.. got the pork chops and tasted of old grease.. my corn was contaminated with what looked like green bean ends and strings.. is no body looking at what comes out of that kichen.. that should have been caught by at least 3 people.. the cook, the person putting on service tray, and the server. No one looked at was coming out to the table or didn't care.. after reading other reviews, corporate needs to send someone to Tuscaloosa Alabama..

15 minute wait to seat eight in almost empty dining room. Meatloaf was cold dry and without glaze. Chicken and dumplings had no chicken in it. Peach cobbler special was peaches out of can surrounded by burnt graham crackers uncooked with a scoop of ice cream. Yea was unbelievably sweet had to ask for unsweetened and ice to cut it down. Quality of food and service has declined tremendously … will not go back! You can close the doors if you wait for my return! So sad because it used to be a k no ice place for family to eat but now ranks right there with McDonald’s ?

It took a little longer but my grilled chicken tenders was right off the grill and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Wife's pancakes were good.

Placed a to go order for A Fresh Berry French Toast. When home there were not any strawberries on my order. I called to the store and was informed that strawberries are not available on the to go orders although I asked for that specifically when placing the order. Was told order would be ready in 20mins it was 40mins.

A few months ago we said we wouldn’t come back due to the poor service and food quality but we all know over the past two years employers hav been hard to come by and what few you are able to keep around can only tend to their job with so much efficiency. So we gave it another try just yesterday and it was the best meal we have had in town in a while! We brought our two toddlers and all had a big breakfast. The country fried steak and chicken were cooked perfectly. Hashbrown casserole was perfectly moist and our waitress was understanding and thoughtful. We had an excellent experience and will be visiting again soon. They also now offer a free appetizer when you join their rewards program so we cannot wait to gain points for free items in the future.Parking: We visited on a Sunday morning and past Sundays we would leave after being overwhelmed with the crowded parking situation and the line standing out the door that we would just avoid the restaurant altogether.Kid-friendliness: As our waitress greeted us our youngest sneezed the snottiest of all sneezes and she immediately turned around and ran for extra napkins. She was so nice I wish I could remember her name. She was understanding that as mom my duty is to order for everyone before myself and gave us all time to decide. She was very tentative and talked to our boys respectively.
