Why does this place have this many good reviews?? For starters I ordered teriyaki wings and it came with a side of fried rice. It was like eating a candied apple….yes it was literally candied chicken. I’ve NEVER in my life had a sauce this sticky like melted candy. The flavor wasn’t bad but there is NO reason why I should be playing operation in my mouth trying to get the skin of the chicken from behind my teeth?. Then the fried rice tasted old and gross!! My friend tasted it as well and said it tasted like old bread….I asked for extra teriyaki sauce (it was an extra $1) to try to eat the rice and the sauce he gave me was absolutely nothing like the sauce on my chicken. He proceeded to tell me the flavor was different because that sauce was cooked on the grill…He must’ve thought I had “stupid” written on my forehead. If what he said was the case I would’ve tasted the grill flavor which I DID NOT. He then proceeded to ask if I wanted a refund for the sauce. I got the refund. I also got the mango smoothie without boba. Explain to me why it was giving powder smoothie flavor. It was nasty to me….I didn’t finish it and when I rinsed out the cup why was there a powder looking film around the cup?(the cup was cute tho ). All in all it was a waste of my money and time. I won’t be back.

Got the chicken entree with teriyaki sauce. Chicken was flavorless and unseasoned. The fried rice and noodles weren’t great, but not terrible. I also ordered a side of teriyaki sauce (at an extra cost) since the chicken was so flavorless. Teriyaki sauce tasted terrible and wasn’t the same sauce my friend had on her chicken wings. I did get my refund for the sauce however. Spent $14 and it wasn't worth the money.

the worker taking the orders does not understand english well. i went in and ordered fried rice and received fries. i realized the mistake after i left and quickly returned. the worker took the fries back out of our bag, and did not throw them away just set them on her desk. the fries container had the yum yum sauce( which was an extra $1) and she proceeded to not give me the sauce with the fried rice and began arguing over the sauce. her attitude was very unprofessional, and never apologized for the mix up.
Steak was cooked perfectly. Best rice and sauce in town!

I ordered to-go steak with veggies and noodles, the rangoon, and a crimson lava tea…and it was all delicious! Seriously, the noodles were cooked just right, the steak was cooked to the exact temperature I requested and had excellent flavor.The rangoon was fresh and delicious, and the tea was five stars.I almost didn’t order because of some local reviews saying the “yum yum sauce didn’t taste right” or “save your money and go to {insert local chain restaurant}” but I’m sooo glad that I did!I suggest keeping in mind when reading reviews that some people have only ever eaten at the places local to them, and think that chain restaurants are how food is supposed to be made.This was my first time eating at Crimson Japanese Grill, but won’t be my last!
