I went on 3/26 for the first time and I ordered the catfish dinner with 2 sides and also got a side of green beans. My 2 sides were the Mac and cheese and the yams. This catfish is absolutely perfect. Nice and crispy has a lot of flavor and it’s big pieces. Whenever I eat catfish usually I will need tartar sauce or some sort of sauce but not this one it’s absolutely delicious probably the best catfish I have ever had. Their green beans were really good had lots of flavor just wish it was less liquid but their yams OMG absolutely delicious I devoured it in minutes. The only thing that was disappointing was the Mac and cheese I was really excited for some good Mac and cheese but this Mac and cheese had no flavor and it was dry. The corn bread was also good. I will 100% be coming back cause their food was worth the price and it was absolutely delicious. I want to try their smothered pork chop one day but idk if anything can beat that catfish.

It was my first time and the food was good. My only problem was the fried wings. The grease was old and burnt so the chicken tasted like burnt chicken.. Had this not been, I would have given it a five.

I'm giving them 3/5 stars because I didn't receive the Dr. Pepper I ordered, and I requested two more peices of fish of the Fried Whitening Plate as well as another cornbread. The extra fish I could do without now that I saw it was really big lol but dang, y'all could've at least put my extra cornbread muffin in there. However , everything is 10/10. Those are the best yams and green beans I've ever tasted. The cornbread was soft and full of flavor. The fish was so crispy and seasoned perfectly. I definitely will be ordering from y'all again. The first time , I did not receive my order due to the dasher in which I filed a complaint on her. Second time, my dasher (a male) followed my instructions and this time I was able to receive my food . I hate it was after 7pm since I can't stand to eat no later than 5pm , but as I said everything was real real good . Y'all have a new customer just next time don't forget my drink and extra cornbread . :)

Today was my first time coming, and the atmosphere was great. The food was extremely fresh and amazing. Not only was the food good, but the customer service was extraordinary. I would definitely be back, and recommend others to come as well.
I drove 2 hours and wanted soulfood. This place was recommended. The food was definitely SOULFOOD!!! I 100% recommend!!! Staff was friendly, food is great, and prices are worth it! I Will definitely visit again when passing through.

We decided to try something new, and boy am I glad we did. I hadn’t been to the mall in years, so I had no idea this place even existed. This is not normal mall fare, this is “heart” and soul food. The owner came out to greet us, making sure we were enjoying our meal, which indeed we were. It’s clear he’s put his heart into his business, and takes pride in what he has to offer.I have only tried a couple of things so far, but I don’t hesitate to say that this is the best mac n’ cheese I’ve ever had, and the quality of the ingredients used on the FatBoi fries is outstanding. I look forward to returning on Sundays when the full menu is available. I can’t wait to try one of the seafood dishes.
