Food was as expected - amazing! I was very surprised walking in, I’ve heard about this place on the radio so many times and thought it was much bigger. Very small quaint atmosphere. What I can say is again the food was amazing and the staff was beyond expectations! Friendliest waitresses ever!!!I cannot recommend this this place more! You will not regret anything about your visit here!

Raised on County must be the only restaurant of its kind here in Tuscaloser. Sure, you can get burgers, steaks and the same old beef/chicken/pig meat entrées anywhere, but ROC has a variety of exotic animal flesh from which to choose including deer, elk, bison, rattlesnake, rabbit. Personally the Texas burger--made from wild boar--is enjoyable; tastes like peanuts! Friendly staff. Sit outside if you'd like. Multiple TV screens.

Everything about this place was excellent! The food was delicious. Especially the alligator balls and fries! Didn’t matter what sauce you get foryour wings they all were delicious.You won’t be disappointed. Every drink was on point and perfect. The ownerand our server was very generous and friendly.

Great place has the best meats for burgers, best bun, best fries in town, and even best soap in the bathrooms. Oh and the staff is really nice as well.Ownership really takes pride in delivering a high quality product. You would be d*** to go anywhere in downtown or Tuscaloosa period for a burger but here!

Service was slow to start, but they were busy. Once they came though, several people attended to us and even the owner came out and talked to us. Good was AMAZING! Prices were a little bit more than your normal burger, but make sense with what they are serving. Will return and I highly recommend!!!

We stopped in to eat before an Alabama softball game. The food was great and the service was excellent. I got the bacon cheeseburger and my husband got the bison burger. Both were good and we received our food within 10 minutes of ordering.

First time writing a review and first time at this location. Service was very friendly and accommodating. For my main drink I ordered a woot stout dark beer which was very nice and refreshing. I then ordered the onion rings and I was not disappointed. Crispy, flavorful and right out of the kitchen. I am a firm believer that you did not need sauce for them because they were that good and to top it off; they added fresh ground pepper to the rings; see photos below. I decided to try something new and ordered the bison burger. Dare I say it again? Yes it was flavorful, so good that it would be a sin to put ketchup and or mustard on the burger. Shame on you if you do! The fries were Krispy and seasoned nice, the burger cooked beautifully and the flavor was there. The cheese nicely melted and when i lifted the hood, you can see the beauty of the burger and it's add ons. Spark Notes version: Great service, atmosphere and great food. If you're solo dolo, just get the burger and fries. But if you bring a group, they won't disappoint. Will come back again to try a roo (kangaroo) burger.

Great service and food. Would give 10 stars, but there's only 5. My 14 y/o ordered the venison burger and now says he has a new favorite burger place. I had the Bison and seriously considered the Yak Burger after Jordan mentioned it (seasonal) so I may give it a try next time. The Mrs. had the Sportsman and enjoyed it and noted there were too many flavors to pick a favorite flavor. She may try the Elk next time.

Wow what an incredible dining experience! My wife ordered the Bacon Brisket Burger with smoked ghost cheese and grilled onions and I got a Bison Tomahawk steak cooked medium rare. My wife said it was the best burger she ever had and the steak I got was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten as well. The owners were very gregarious and hospitable and the servers attentive and helpful. This is one of the best places to eat in Tuscaloosa bar none.
