I have went to this restaurant twice and had bad experience. Febuary 1st 2024 I ordered a newk's Q pizza and the pizza was all oily and greasy and the chicken was dried up. Basically what it looks like is they gave me a old piece of that have been sitting there and just put some ranch dressing on top of it the manager was back there in the back playing in his mouth or his nose I don't know which one it was but that is uncentered for me he never put on gloves. Start to fix a customer soup when he just walking out of the lobby at a table and like I said he was back there kept going up to his face with his back turned to me so either he was eating or he was playing his nose. I will never go back there again. Plus also I will let everybody at the hospital knows about my experience there and whether they want to go there for their own to get anything to eat I have had two bad experiences there. And that's enough for me. This is the Vestavia location in Birmingham Alabama the address is 1612 Montgomery Highway Suite 110

I placed an online order for the Salmon Caesar Salad with no croutons. When I went to pick it, they had added croutons which wasn't a big deal. When I got home and opened up the wrapped salmon, I noticed that the inside was still VERY RAW. I have eaten at other locations before and never had this issue.

The salads here are always good, vibes are great and the sweet tea is just how I like it. The service is good and people are friendly, parking lot gets packed tho, so be careful backing out your car

I have been a customer of newks in Vestavia Hills for several years. I have never in my life received such poor customer service. the manager on duty was Brenda. She was very rude, inappropriate, unprofessional. And had the audacity to threaten me by saying she would call the police. If I did not leave when I requested the name and phone number of the manager owner and corporate. I ask for a Greek chicken salad dry tossed. And they gave me a salad that was not dry tossed with a big hunk of meat on it. At least 5 or 6 inches in length. When I asked if I could get another salad. Brenda proceeds to tell me that that is how the salad comes. I explained to her that I was just in there on Monday and that my salad was made to perfection. In the middle of my sentence, Brenda just walks away without saying hold on just a minute if she was going to help me if she was going to put me out if they were gonna make me a salad. I was at a complete loss. Brenda does not need a job. She does not need to be a manager. She probably just needs to stick to making salads and sandwiches and not deal with the public because she does not represent the newks that I am accustomed to... I am very disappointed, and vestavia has definitely lost a customer. .. I do hope management or corporate or someone reads my review. I was so very disappointed, and now I don't have any lunch after standing in there for over 30 minutes and not getting anything but a refund.. Shame on brenda she's a very poor manager just disgusting. Brenda is definitely bad for your business. You will lose more customers if she continues to be a manager. The cashier continued to apologize for the way. Brenda was acting because even the cashier knew she was inappropriate. I only gave 1 star ? in order to give this review. I wish I had taken a picture of the atrocious salad before giving it back. BRENDA IS THE WORST MANAGER I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED.?????

I'm a fan of Newks and this most recent experience was no different. Quality food at a price that doesn't break the bank. We stopped here on a Friday night and it was pretty quiet. We wanted to order on the app, nut it looked like that option was not available at this store. So we ordered at the counter. It didn't take long for our food to arrive - everything was correct and looked fresh. I enjoyed my soup and salad, and my daughter enjoyed her cheese pizza. My only wish is that the kids meal came with a side. Wish there was a location in Trusssvile!

I used to love Newk’s and hadn’t been in a while. My salad was drenched in dressing and inedible, my Newk’s Q sandwich was also drenched in sauce and wasn’t hot. Not worth $18 to come back sadly.

1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8 times I have eaten here and ordered a Ham and Cheese sandwich with just the ham and cheese and nothing else on it. The last nine times I ordered this 8 eight were wrong.I’m usually not one to complain but I mean 8 times, come on.

Yet another restaurant where you are asked to tip at the register. Nevermind if the order is correct or decently prepared. I have no issue with the food but the staff is borderline rude. The cashiers NEVER smile or even greet the customer, just staring at me while acting as if they are being put out. All while asking for a tip. The servers basically drop the food on your table, and even after saying "thank you", there is no response.I'm not obligated to tip anyone but this generation of entitlement expects it regardless. It's not the customer's job to pay the staff. Paying $15 for a cold sandwich and drink should be enough for the OWNER to pay the staff. Either stop asking for tips or hire employees who are friendly and polite enough to actually earn a tip.

I'm done with this Newk's. Like many restaurants post-Covid, they just can't operate like they used to. My kids RAW DOUGH pepperoni pizza was the last time for me. No more. Good luck with chapter 11.

I arrived at 10.35, second customer. Ordered what was suppose to be a 6" sub and soup. After 23 minutes I went to ask and told "we have a large order, go sit and we'll bring it when it ready".5 minutes later I received it. It wasn't even warm.. this is why I'll never tip again ahead when they run my credit card. Poor value for my 15.00
