My latte was excellent. Not overly sweetened but enough that it's didn't have an overpowering coffee taste (I'm not a fan of the taste of coffee). Smelled good inside and the workers were very friendly.

The location is close to my home, so it's convenient, but I don't think I would go out of my way to visit otherwise.My experiences have been with the Patchworks Farms location only, and it's possible other locations are different.For a coffee shop, I feel it's way too loud of an environment likely due to the high ceilings. It's hard to have a meeting or conversation when there are a number of folks there. There are more "private" booths, but they are almost never available.The coffee/tea is OK. Not earth shattering, IMO, but that's just my taste. The pastries/muffins are always decent, as is the Conecuh biscuit. I skip the other food items as they are bland.Lately I've taken a couple extra minutes and went to another local shop up the street. Smaller, quieter, and a better environment for a 1:1 meeting.

Aside from the delicious coffee and dreamy treats, O.Henry’s has a perfect environment for working, relaxing, or simply, just a lunch with friends.Arriving at about 10:00 am, I walked in to a very clean and orderly coffee shop with some of my family, not knowing what to expect. The atmosphere was friendly and busy with courteous staff. After struggling with a mental battle of what to get from the large menu of coffees, sandwiches, snacks, and even the sweet treats in the window. Not long after, I was sitting down. And after that it was only minutes before my food and coffee were ready.The coffee came first and it was perfect. Having ordered a black coffee and me, enjoying a darker and stronger roast, it was all it could have been and even with the perfect temperature. Moments later the muffin arrived. After taking it out of the bag, I held it in my hand. The warm and aromatic muffin in my hand was too much for me to hold for much longer, so before even taking off the wrapper, I took a bite in to the top of it. The taste of the melted chocolate in the chocolate cappuccino muffin was so wonderful. Warmed to the correct temperature and being very large, it was just what I had asked for.After enjoying all these things, my family and I sat down to work and study. The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast. With lovely outdoor seating as well as nice stores near by, it is a great are to hang out with friends and family. We had the most ridiculous experience today. Having made a special trip, even though we buy probably $200 of beans minimum a month for our home espresso machine, we were told they could not sell us beans because they were out of bags. So my husband goes to the car, I get him a brown bag. He is then told by JoJo at the counter that it is against their policy to sell beans in any container beside their own sacks, of which they have none. When asked to speak to a manager, no manager was available today. We were told to go to another O’Henry‘s coffee location and they would have bags. Not a happy customer.
I guess the new owners of O’Henries only care about their in-store coffee drinkers and not about coffee bean sales anymore. A pound of coffee is $20 which is $1.25 per ounce and yet, sometimes they short you as much as an ounce. If you complain, they will fix the problem but you have to call them.It’s not like they don’t have a scale but I guess some employees just don’t care.The website has had the hours of operation wrong for the Patchwork Farms location and I have made a special trip to get coffee only to find them closed.Recently, they ran out of bags and would not sell me any coffee even though I offered to supply a bag for them to put it in.I have loved O’Henries since they roasted beans in the front of the Homewood store but now that they have sold to new owners, I guess they don’t even appreciate those who are buying the most coffee from them. I would not guess that the average in-store coffee drinker is spending $200/month for drinks like I do beans.

Worst coffee I've ever had on three separate occasions, coffee is always cold, no taste or flavor. Coffee is at least warm sometimes but their hot coffees are always cold. I think they need new staff or new management, awful

Had two oat milk Lattes and a cookie. Pastry was good and the lattes came out fast. Inside of the store and the bathrooms were clean.
