DO NOT EAT AT ALLENS BBQ IN ARKADELPHIA. Ive been in arkadelphia all week for work training and yesterday myself and 2 colleagues stopped in for a quick lunch. I ordered the ultimate nacho which I believe was like 12.98 before tax. My total was 14.95, I did not purchase a soft drink (been staying away from pop) only water. There was a 3.5% fee for card charges. Anyway, walking away from the counter my receipt said $14.95. sat down, ate lunch. Today I was checking the balance on my company card to see what my lunch allowance for the day would be and I noticed the charge had went from $14.95 to $18.07. I asked the 2 colleagues I was with to check their totals as well, the one guy I was with who had a $9.89 had now been charged $21.00 (and some change). Tried to get it squared away with the cashier first, then the manager, then the owner who told me I needed medication lol. All of this over a couple dollar mischarge. Long story short. Do not eat at Allen's, your total will be adjusted and your bill will be a mystery. 10/10 will never go again.Edit:They were expecting this review as I've been blocked from their Facebook platform

Went in for a quick lunch with some colleagues from work and ordered the ultimate nacho, 14.95 was my total, checked my bank statement the next day to see I had been over charged. My bank statement said 18.07 there was a 3.5% fee for using a card but the total just doesn't ad up. I did not get a drink and the two colleagues I was there to eat with had also been over charged. The big fella with the ear plugs was the guy that took our order, I think he and I both know what has happened but when I called to sort it out I was told that there was nothing that could be done.

Oh Yeah! Another great bbq business. Smoked on location. The brisket was smoky and tender. For my wife and I, is the benchmark for brisket. We will eat here again and stay at the nearby Marriott when traveling through...for the bbq.

I will definitely recommend everyone stopping by this sweet little barbecue place, actually I'm not big on barbecues, however I ate their chopped beef sandwich and I do not regret getting it. YUMMY!! I will say that the desserts need to be a little warm before they serve them, the only thing I did not like was that my apple pie was given to someone else...even when I paid and was first in line. It's a mistake people make and I get it. I ended up with the apricot and chocolate... They're good but served cold but anything from that Chef I'd eat
There are fast food options at this exit but you should definitely eat here instead! Delicious bbq, friendly staff and homey atmosphere. And fast. So glad we gave this place a try! We had the beef nachos, pork quesadilla & a pork sandwich. Wish we could come back but just passing through!
Do y'all cater to Michigan??? We stopped here as we were heading back home and it was delicious! My smoked sausage, BBQ beans and mac n cheese, even the GARLIC toast, was a 10/10. My family enjoyed all of their food as well. Loved the atmosphere and the employees are friendly too!
