Very run down building. We love the food and the workers but the place definitely needs a cleaning. Noticed dust everywhere and everything was sticky. They keep the grill and food areas clean but other than that pretty out of touch...

I want to give a warning. Let’s start off with the restaurant cutting corners at the health risk of its consumers. Low sodium soy sauce - not here. The waiter was filling both the regular soy sauce and low sodium soy sauce with the same regular soy sauce. He told us customers don’t know the difference it all tastes the same. It’s only less than 10% difference he stated. WRONG. It’s a 50% difference in sodium levels. Makes you question what other substitutions they are making with our food. Also, if anyone drops sweet and sour sauce on your new white shoes make sure to make a complaint about it right there and then. Do not think you can go home wash your shoes with stain removers and politely say it’s ok. The stain will not come out, and the restaurant will tell you it’s ok bring your shoes in and we will be able to clean them. Do you not think we tried several ways of cleaning the shoes?! It takes three hostess to do the job of one and they will tell you the wait is 30-60 minutes, but then tell you after the time passes it’s another 30-60 minutes. My friends recommend going to the Fayetteville one - we should have listened. The pictures are after we treated the shoes with stain remover and washed with Borax.

Our chef and waitress were amazing. The food was equally amazing. The only thing negative I'll say is if they take you to the back room to eat, be sure to have a coat with you, and make sure to scarf your food down. It felt like it was 20 degrees back there (the waitress told us they have to keep it super cold or it'll get too hot).Kid-friendliness: Kids get a ton of food with the "kid options."

The service was good, but the cook was terrible. His attitude was he was giving food for free. We had to leave the restaurant half tummy filled and paid $119 for two adults and two kids. It was a terrible experience, and I will never go

Waited an hour.. they never called us for a table. Went back up, they said another 45 minutes. I guess they lost our place. Never texted like they said. And are not making it right.

BLUF: Not Gluten Allergy Friendly and WAY overpriced!Recently visited Shogun in Bentonville. We were expecting a classy Japanese steakhouse. My wife and daughter are extremely allergic to gluten; they can sense it almost immediately. We rarely go out to eat because despite gluten sensitivity being on the rise in the US for reasons that can only be attributed to companies like Monsanto, many restaurants in the South have not made a real effort to service those of us with this allergy.Regardless, we were invited by friends and we went, hopeful that maybe we could order something besides steak and salad. When we arrived, we were informed that "we could order anything off the hibachi menu, but it would be prepared in the kitchen". Well that was hopeful. We assumed that that must mean they had a clean space and gf soy and teriyaki options.Well, we assumed wrong. All it meant was that we could order "Japanese" grill items such as Tepanyaki Chicken WITHOUT any soy or teriyaki... in other words, basic grilled entrees with seasoning. So, we asked if they could maybe make the sushi special order without ingredients that have gluten... NOPE.Finally, not wanting to abandon our friends, my wife and daughter ordered the $34 "NY Strip Steak" with the only gluten free side available: steamed rice. What came out of the kitchen though should put the owners of Shogun, or any decent restaurant, to shame:About 5oz of what should have been 8, cut into a handful of bite-size pieces, sitting on top of about $.25 worth of shredded cabbage, with about $.50 worth of plain steamed rice.My guess is that including the Dr. Pepper, this pathetic meal cost the restaurant between $8 - $10 and cost us about $38. You do the math.Bottom line... If you have a gluten allergy, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.If you don't have a gluten allergy, the food was on par with a typical Japanese Steakhouse, but certainly nothing to write home about.
