I had dinner at the hive this evening and sat at the bar with an excellent bartender name will. he was very knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails. Will was so nice. We came back twice.

The service was top notch - really helpful and personable. Dog friendly patio was great. The drinks and beer selection were great. The food was just good - fresh and delicious, but expensive for what it was and slow to arrive. We had a pasta dish and a chicken dish with gnocchi, wish there had been more of the gnocchi! The pasta itself felt like the sauce was missing something. Overall a good night and a good atmosphere if you are looking for refined spot.

The service was good, however the food was very bland. The ribeye was thin. The menu didn’t list all the things that came on the plates. One of the dishes had tons of cabbage on it but wasn’t listed. The drinks were great and the lemon custard tart was excellent. I would go back just for a drink and dessert but will stay away from the starters and main courses.

I've been coming here weekly with larger groups to dine and the service every week has been top notch. The staff has truly elevated our experiences. While 90% of the food has been incredible, a few flavors have fallen short but the setting, the drinks and the staff will have you coming back time and time again.Dietary restrictions: Very good with accommodating gluten free, vegetarian and dairy free options.
Food was delicious. The roasted beet hummus was the perfect starter. The burger, chicken and dessert were also very good. Our server Andrew was very nice and stopped by exactly when we needed him. He suggested all the right things! Thank you.

It’s a great place but puts in an intentional air of elitism. This is not in common to other high end restaurants which are far more down to earth. Also do not like that they refuse to seat you until exactly the time of your reservation.

So very disappointing. Booked through Open Table and was sure to add that we were celebrating a birthday. Just to be certain it was special, I let the hostess know when I checked in. It was my mother’s 87th birthday and we wanted her to be fussed over. Absolutely NO MENTION the entire meal. The waitress had the most off putting personality. From start to finish she was insufferable. She chastised my 88 year old father for his selection of the burger. She complained about the pasta dish really being a mushroom dish even though two of us selected it. Lectured us on sous vide like we couldn’t possible know what that is. This was just a disappointing miss for us this time. Regretted so much not going to The Preacher’s Son.

Their hog chop was really good and the Grilled Chicken Gizzards for the appetizer. If you want a healthier option get the House-Made Paccheri.I highly recommend this restaurant not only for its delicious food but also for its exceptional service.Second visit: I got the pan-seared sea bass and it was delicious.
Why does this perfectly located restaurant live like a refugee of cuisine and atmosphere!?!? Are you kidding me!The food across the board makes me cry! Don't reinvent the Mediterranean (hard name to spell) cuisine- it ain't going to work. No depth- nada on the scale- what- why- leave it alone- zero satisfaction- my palette is still wondering like a lost dog for the flavor! What are they trying to do?! My mother is crying! Not good!I have come here for years and those damn bees are still on that bogus contemporary "lattice"! Come on. Let's move on- I mean Crystal Bridges is your venue maker - adapt!

Very fun atmosphere in a very unique hotel. Cabbage salad and the carrot salad were both delicious. Pork rinds delicious. Pork chop and vegetables were perfect. Delicious drink suggested by our server. Overall a wonderful experience.

The house-made Paccheri was delicious, although the pasta was slightly undercooked. Nonetheless, it was still a delightful experience. We had chicken gizzards for our appetizer, and we savored every bite of it. The atmosphere of the place was serene and cozy, with a well-stocked bar. The warm and friendly staff made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. We plan to visit again.
