My sister and I have eaten there before. She loves the pork chops, fries, garden salad. I ordered the grilled chicken breast with mashed taters/brown gravy. With toasted bread with butter. Garden salad. Boy howdy!! Food was sooo good. I recommend it to anyone traveling on highway 64 just north of the interstate 40. Excellent everything.
I had the daily special, a meat dish, two sides plus a roll. I sat at a two person table across from some friends who were almost through eating but we had a little time to talk. Visited with another group on my way out.I really appreciated that even though the place was almost full you could hear each other but didn't hear everyone else's conversations.My dinner servings were ample. Diner style place open for breakfast and lunch. Super quick service. Good hearty meals. My wife really enjoyed her chocolate gravy. Not too thick. I did miss having grits but I understand not having them on the menu.
