This is a freaking delicious Mexican food restaurant. The chips and salsa won us over immediately. The salsa is fresh tasting with little spice. Just a favorable bowl of tasty salsa. All over our food came out hot and tasted better than expected. The Papas Hernandez, perfection. The Fajita Hawaiian was a perfect blend of sweet and savory. Homemade tortillas. Then only bad part for me was the horchata- it was made from a powder mix. Try this place. So much food for a little price.Parking: This is in a shopping center type of strip mall on the mini side next to an escape room. Parking is available but the lot is small.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu, seating fits kiddos, bright colors.

We've only been in Conway for a few months, but we have already fallen in love with this restaurant! The food is consistently delicious and their tortillas are some of the best I've ever had. Their agua frescos are amazing as well, we've tried the melon and horchata, so good.

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Hot Springs and it was so good! The portion sizes are huge and everything is so fresh. I'm very glad we stopped here and we will certainly stop again if we ever come through this town in the future.

Being Latina and living in CA for decades, we're always on the search for good hispanic food here in AR. Most have ranged from meh to pretty gross so we were thrilled to find that El K'iche' in Conway serves really delicious, homemade recipes we take for granted back home. It's a real mom & pop Guatemalan/Mexican taco shop that cooks with integrity and love of their culture and food. The chips were hot and the table salsa is good (first litmus test of any Latino restaurant is their table salsa). There were so many items on the menu that that looked good that I floundered because I couldn't decide so I ended up ordering 3 tacos - chorizo, carnitas, and al pastor. Plus, if they can't make tacos well, their is no point in ordering anything else. The tacos were delicious! They came only needing one tortilla each, grilled onions, cilantro, and radish. My son ordered their basic burrito - carnitas because it was late and they were out of carne asada. He really enjoyed his burrito and noted how perfectly wrapped it was - only one drop of meaty juiciness had escaped it halfway through his meal. LOL The waitress was very attentive. The food came to us in good time. And, we were given two squirt bottles of red and green salsa - something Californians are very familiar with - and they did not disappoint. My son commented how cool it was that those two salsas always taste the same no matter where you go. LOVE. We're definitely going to frequent El K'iche' when we're in Conway and need a good bite to eat.
