The food is ok for being one of the only bbq places we have. Ppl are friendly but, they made me pay 15% gratuity and I had a carry out. I believe I should have had an option to pay it or not. So I guess when buying here you need to take cash to avoid the gratuity on your card.

The worst ribs I've ever tried to eat. They were so darn tough and taste like lighter fluid. The nerves to charge 20.00. The beans and potato salad was good. I only ate 1 and a half and spit most of it out the meat was to tough to swallow.

I'm never disappointed when we eat here. Plus, it's the only place in town that has blooming onions. Steaks are good if you go on steak night.
Food was so good but this was so decent place and I think this is some more expensive I’ve seen in El Dorado because when you compare with old fashion and JJ BBQ, finally JJ’s is an expensive list. But worth it?

I have always heard how great JJ BBQ is, well I won't go back. I ordered 2 fish and shrimp combo Plates, got home only 1 plate in the bag. I live put of town. So I called, the women at the register who took my order, said she only charged me for 1. It wasn't even worth the price they charged. 3 small fish fillets, 4 pieces of shrimp, tiny tubs of baked bean, and 1 teeny tiny tub of coleslaw. It wasn't worth what they charged $20.00 a plate.

If I could put less that 1 star I would…awful! This is NOT bbq!! The sauce was horrendous. Brisket was dry, pulled pork was dry, chicken was dry. French fries…well you’d get better fries from McDonald’s. Okra was good. I can’t even begin to describe how disgusting the bbq sauce is…I literally wanted to use the packets of ketchup on my “meat” instead of that so called sauce. Ketchup and cocktail sauce mixed together is not bbq sauce. None of the meat I ate tasted “smoked” Am not from el dorado but I pray there’s a better bbq restaurant in this town than this one.

Good food…friendly folks. They do bbq the old school way…really delicious. And I’m told…tge ribeyes are spot on, as well. BUTTTT…bring back the fresh fried pork skins!

Good BBQ, owner and wife were friendly. The individual pies were delicious. I wish I had bought a few of them to go. Really enjoyed the food. It's a small place but pretty interesting. I will go back the next time I am in town.
