Stumbled on this gem. Bartender was amazing, we made up a drink for St. Germaine’s and he took it and ran with it and it was amazing. The piano guy was amazing and so entertaining it really made our night out one of the best we’ve had on vacation. Loved the ambience, staff, and fellow patrons. It’s cozy and didn’t get overly crowded so it was like your classic neighborhood bar. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

We just came in @6:00 on a Friday. I couldn't believe how busy it was, but we got the best service from Robbie! Everything was amazing! What a cool little speakeasy! Totally recommend!!!

Confused about their business plan. Entertainer was so loud we couldn't converse. People left because of noise and others looked in but left. Pay someone to chase away business?

Found this place on accident and I am incredibly glad we did. The place was hopping, but not crowded. The bar staff was SECOND TO NONE. Seriously, I have never been to a new-to-me establishment that made me feel more at home than Slane Tavern. Incredible atmosphere in this place. The band was mind blowing and the whole vibe was simply joyful.Go here.

I'm surprised there were such bad reviews. I stopped in at 630 in the evening (so things were slow) and the bartenders were super personable. The venue is super cool and the food looked tasty.

Cool atmosphere! When we went there was a live piano player and it added a lot to the atmosphere. Likes the darker interior, candles lit, cool books all around.

This place has a cool atmosphere and the bartender was nice but we ordered 2 single Tito vodka and sodas and they were $12 a piece and tasted like soda water. Super disappointed! We went to two other bars afterwards and had the same thing for $8 a piece. That’s some BS price for a vodka soda that is not top shelf liquor or a specialty cocktail.

Stopped by to grab a drink while we waited for our table at the Grotto around 9PM 11/12. The bartender was extremely rude, not just to our table, but to others. I have never in my life experienced such terrible service. Very disappointed.
