This is a hard one. This place isn't bad but it's not a knock your socks off either. Cleanliness is lacking on the floor and tables. The food is pretty good. It's almost always packed on the weekends but it doesn't bowl me over with flavor or freshness. Biscuits are huge but not always fresh. Not a bad choice if you're with a group.

When you walk in, you'll immediately notice it's giving off old people diner vibes, but in a good way. It's cute, with bear merchandise and camp decor all over. I came here for breakfast and got the California omelette, which comes with avocado, mushrooms, and jack cheese. I added ham, along with a biscuit with gravy and potato bites. First off, that's a lot of food--the portions are big, but that's not a complaint. No notes on the service. One notable thing is that the menu is massive, with a wide selection of different choices. Lastly I recommend trying a huckleberry shake. I'll try to remember a picture next time.

Man I wanted to like this place. It seemed so fun...but I couldn't. The food was mediocre at best and we waited right at an hour for our food. The service wasn't terrible but also wasn't that great.

We have eaten quite often at Black Bear in Fayetteville Arkansas...it have always been outstanding and have also ordered meals to go which were fantastic...but!A few weeks ago we had a friend who just got out of the hospital. We wanted to take them a nice meal from Black BearWe were so embarrassed when we took the meal to them. The proportions were so small and it looked like it was prepared days ago. Plus, part of the meal wasn't even what we had ordered for them. The order was over $60.00 but it looked like a frozen meal from the grocery store.I apologize over and over to our friends.So disappointed. Needless to say we will never order again for take out or probably will not be dinning there again.Sad because it was one our favorite places to eat.

Went for dinner and Black Bear didn't disappoint once again - at least I got pictures this time - as you can see the portions are huge - took home more than we ate - the service is always great and the food is very tasty and plentiful

Food kinda of ok not the best breakfast I have now let's talk about service it was horrible the lady that waited on us she need speed she talk to much and really never came back to the table to check of the customer drink we keep having to find her and when we ask for the check we waiting 30 minutes and she never came back one of the lady's I was with got up from the table and have to located her and found and she was talking to a another lady but I say go and find out for yourself it just my opinion and your experience may be differentParking: 60 or more
