Hit the spot! Pretty much what you would expect for breakfast, but no complaints there! The server was great. Loved the gravy and the French toast was delicious. Ask for the hash brown casserole if they have it!

I was expecting a fantastic breakfast based on other reviews and the wait to sit down, but it was just ok. I had a vegetable omelette, with a biscuit, cream gravy, and hash browns. The cream gravy and the omelette didn't have a lot of flavor. The vegetables in the omlet had a flavor of store-bought Frozen onions and peppers as opposed to fresh. The cream gravy also had no flavor except for the flour. I did try my daughter's sausage gravy and it was tastier. The hash browns were good, but not as crispy as I would prefer. We waited with four other parties at least 10 minutes for someone to come to the register so we could pay the check. They must be doing something right based on the amount of people that were there, but for us it was just okay.

Down home, home cooked breakfast. You really can't beat this. We came in town for a visit to the University of Arkansas, but it was clear that this is a local favorite. You will not leave hungry! Staff was great! Oh, and the pie was amazing.

When we walked in the only place to sit is a 6-top with my family of four and it’s seat yourselves. So we do so, and I bus the dirty table for them. The waitress comes over and asks us how many people do we have and we say four. She says this table is for five or more and we can’t sit there.This was the ONLY empty table. Unbelievable.

Homemade everything. Absolutely delicious. I had the breakfast with homemade milk gravy and biscuits and homemade waffle, hubby had chopped steak with sides and a roll. Everything was wonderful. 10*** if I could. Inexpensive also and great service. I specifically told her what and how I wanted my food, then got they wanted to put on it, when I spoke to waitress about it, she then proceeded, she read what I wanted. Excuses! But no I still paid for it, naturally I didn't tip. I was a waitress in my younger days.

I've been to rolling pin a few times & usually have quality service & food but this time was different. It was my understanding that they were short staffed on servers, as our server continued to let everyone know. However, my party of 2 and several parties around us who all had the same server waited 20+ minutes just to get a menu & a drink, while patrons in other sections were getting quick service. We stuck around because we enjoy the food, but we watched at least 3 parties leave after waiting to even be greeted. I'm not usually one to complain because I work in the service industry & I understand that it's tough when you're short staffed, but it seemed to me that everyone but our server was running out doing their best to serve their tables, while ours was often seen not doing anything. Pretty disappointed and probably won't be back for awhile.

Got to say not impressed. Friday morning and not too busy. Took 15 minutes to get coffee. Eggs over easy...came out over done... the pancakes were not warm enough to melt the margarine it came with. Never came around for a coffee refill. Not going back. I know sometimes things go wrong in the kitchen and the wait staff is below par but at least get out a dang cup of coffee. Just sayin.
