Our first time to Slim Chicken did not disappoint. The food was yummy but we were more impressed by the service. Bryan helped us/ checked on us multiple times throughout the evening. He was incredibly polite and extremely attentive. Thank you Bryan!

Slims could be really good and sometimes is. But half the time, it takes forever, is kind of high for fast food, and then is not very fresh. I will pretty much always choose Raising Cane's over slims.

Chicken was hot and fresh, coleslaw was okay, a little on the warm side. (Maybe just from being so close to fresh chicken?) Fried mushrooms are great! ?Parking: Can be hard to get in/out during a rush, drive-through traffic can block parking spots.Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't like chicken tenders?Wheelchair accessibility: Big wide doors, should allow for easy access.

I rarely review things unless somewhere really went above or below expectations. I’ve eaten at Slim’s since there was just the one location on College and I’ve never had a bad experience until this past Sunday.I placed an online order at 4:30pm on Super Bowl Sunday expecting it to take a bit due to the rush. The app though said my order would be ready at 4:41pm though, so I went straight to the restaurant and arrived right about the time it should be done. There was no one eating in the dine in area but there were easily 15 people waiting on carry out orders. The cashier asked for the name and I told her and she said it would be “right out.” More people continued to pile in at about twice the rate that people got their orders and left. It never felt insanely busy or anything. At 5:18 I finally gave up and asked the staff if my order was ready and they checked and the receipt/order was nowhere to be found. A guy came from the back and looked up the order on their system, reprinted it, and had my order ready in 10 minutes or so.I’m a really patient person and the store was clearly struggling with what didn’t seem to be a huge volume of customers so it didn’t really occur to me to ask before waiting so long but at the same time I wonder how long I would have waited if I never walked up to the desk to inquire.

I was trying to decide what to get and the server made a great suggestion. I got 20 strips and two sides for a great price. This was the first time I have been to this location. It was very nice, great staff, and a good location. I have been going to Slims for years and now I will have another favorite location.

So I typically don’t write reviews but I just couldn’t contain it. First off they could not hear us even after turning not only the radio but the entire car off when ordering. Then, they did not put any of the requested sauce in the bag a long with any napkins. Which I’m pretty sure napkin training is on day one. Finally we get to the icing on the cake, the nitty gritty, the boiling of the blood. Per the picture you can see the saddest excuse for a wrap I’ve ever seen. This is what $11.52 gets you at this slim chickens. After just giving up on the first half as seen in the picture I thought to myself “surely they didn’t screw up the entire thing”. NOPE! They managed to sell me a “Smokey cheddar wrap” which should have been advertised as lettuce, with a little bit lettuce, along with lettuce, then wrapped in a tortilla. So fair warning for the next poor soul that is fooled by this scam the chicken on the Smokey cheddar wrap is evidently sold separate. But in case there are any rabbits that are reading this you are in luck, this wrap is sure to feed the whole family.

I have bought food at Slim Chickens about six or seven times since I live nearby. The chicken and deserts don't taste like regular drive through food so don't look for soggy, tasteless food. Everything that I ordered tasted great. Like southern home made food. (The good kind) :) As a matter of fact you can easily park your car, walk inside and eat your meal in a ranch sort of atmosphere.I don't want to list the whole menu but if you want something a little different than burgers or pizza, give Slim Chickens a chance. You can try battered and fried mushrooms, pickles and okra. There are a lot of other things like slaw, wonder home styled jar deserts, salad, fries and mac and cheese....just try them out. Try it you''l like it.Dont forget the party platters.11/28/2023They say that one ofy photos if SlimChickens has been seen over a million times!I hope that everyone near a slim chickens restaurant gets to sample their food. It isnt just tasty but beautiful to look at, the ambiance inside is comforting and the employees are so friendly.
