The sandwiches are delicious but are much smaller than they used to be-not worth the price anymore. Also, if you are ordering online, they don't tell you that the lunch sandwiches are really only half a sandwich that comes with chips and a cookie. We were bummed to only get half a sandwich each and don't want chips and cookies so those just got trashed. No more sandwiches for us, but we will keep coming back for the kolaches.

The remodeling is beautiful! Plenty of room and seating options. Lots of menu features and the wait staff are friendly and very helpful. Had a delightful lunch with a friend. NOTE: This is a very POPULAR place to meet/eat in the Fayetteville community, families, co-workers, etc. Lunch fills up quickly. We met up for a late lunch (1:30ish), worked out perfectly. Recommendations: chicken salad ??, BLT with avocado ???. For the soup crowd: potato soup, ? ?, but a different soup each day.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"Stone Mill Bakery is an absolute gem! The sandwiches here are nothing short of amazing, with the Cajun style one being a personal favorite. Every visit, we find ourselves returning for the delicious chicken salad and the delectable cranberry bread, which never disappoints. What's even better is that it's perfect for the whole family; our kids love it just as much as we do. If you're looking for a delightful dining experience with exceptional sandwiches and baked goods, look no further than Stone Mill Bakery!"

Stopped by for lunch today. They were very busy but we were able to find a table and get our food quickly. I did give the rating a 4 but really wanted to give it a 3.5. What I liked: 1) lots going on in this Spring Spinach Salad Mix. Fresh greens mix plus oranges segments, red onion slices, olives, tomato, craisins and Parm shreds with raspberry vinaigrette and 3 generous thick slices of bread. I added chicken to make the salad a meal. 2) the newly renovated indoors is so much more open and brighter than before. What I did not like: 1) the chicken had an "old leftover" taste as if the cooked chicken had been hanging around for a few days. I prefer the chicken to be cooked that day or cooked to order. 2) the bread was served cold. I assume the bread was plated with the salad and stored in the fridge until ordered, making for a quick and efficient service but I don't want to eat cold bread. Either warm it in a microwave for a few seconds or toast it or serve it at room temp. 3) I liked the dressing flavor but it was so thick that I had some difficulty getting it tossed with the greens. I will definitely go back and order this salad again but with a few tweaks next time.
One of my favorite things to order from here is the chicken salad sandwich with their cranberry bread. Plus, when you get the lunch it comes with the perfect oatmeal cookie! The only thing I'm not a fan of at all are their soups.

Was hoping for a nice quiet cafe experience to waste some time between classes. I really just wanted some soup and a hot drink. The line was super long and filled with what seemed like people getting catering, the service was fast and the prices were good. However, I waited about 20 minutes to get my order that was all pre-made food. I got a blueberry muffin, chicken and dumplings and a hot chocolate. The only thing that was good was the hot chocolate. The muffin was very dense and yeasty in the worst way, I could only have like two bites. The dumplings were fine but had no seasoning and were very bland. The people there working seem very friendly though.I wanted to sit and enjoy the food but it was so loud and hectic there with the phone ringing every minute and lots of people I would rather eat in my car....TLDR: Great prices, nice people, loud, long wait, and bland food.

If you want to pay $45 for 2 sandwiches, one of which is a grilled cheese, and 2 coffees. For sure, come on down here. If you want anything close to deserving that price, don’t.
