The business has closed. Marlo had sold the business to family but made keeping employees impossible by increasingly toxic behavior. The family hopes to find a way to continue the business but time will tell how that goes.

The tacos here are really good. Out of the 3 tacos I ate, all 3 were consistent on quality and taste. Unlike most places; where nasty water and grease runs out of them with each bit, these were great. The meat wasn't ground/cooked/served shredded into tiny bits. The prices for the quantity and quality of food is very reasonable. The front workers at the counter, were knowledgeable of their menu and items and very pleasant to converse with during the entire order to served process.Definitely will be returning here on each trip to Fayetteville.

My husband and I were in town for a funeral and ate here for the nostalgia. We were born and raised in Fayetteville. His 1 star review from the week of June 14th was deleted. What a shame to see such a beautiful business- a landmark- ran into the ground by ungrateful, dirty kids. The high ratings you see are from months ago or people who do not know better. The poor reviews all get deleted.

The people were nice but I waited 30 minutes in the drive thru to get the wrong order. Went back today to get a replacement but it was soggy and didn’t taste good.

Reason for the 3 stars on food is because my last few visits where not good and my food was not made properly ?

Our experience here started well. We were greeted by a friendly staff, and had a basket of fresh, refillable chips. Then our food came and the disappointment started. I ordered a chicken burrito, which was rather bland and on the small side. The order of "large"(only in name) nachos was full of flavor. Unfortunately, it wasn't flavors that you would want in your mouth. The cheese sauce seemed to just be melted velveeta, and the "mexican" rice was quite dismal. 2 out of the 3 people in our party did not finish their meals, but we all left hungry and dissapointed. Overall, the food was along the expectations from a hospital cafeteria at best, and definitely not worth what they charge.

Sticks to a stubborn, cheaply sourced, old-school 80s Tex Mex selection which is limited in scope, lacks spice, and sinks in your stomach like a brick. It's not even healthy. If they picked any other regional cuisine as a lodestone, like Yucatecan as Yeyo's does, they could pull off this location. As it stands, the food tastes like poverty. (Which is what tex-mex originally was: Mexican families making do with unhealthy American ingredients, like colby-jack and iceberg lettuce).Give Tex Mex an update! Having lived through the 80s, I do not wish them to return.

The food is good. Plenty on your plate, served by the nicest people and very reasonable price. Eaten there many times. It is an independent restaurant and deserves your patronage.

The taco was good but the beans and Mexican rice beat I've ever had hands down.
