I recently posted an unflattering review of Theo's in Fayetteville AR, after a dinner with my brother and sister-in-law last October that was not up to what I expected. All three plates were over-salted and almost inedible but we didn't send it back because I was embarrassed for them and they for me, so no one said a word. Looking back, I should have had everything sent back with our explanation and I'm sorry for that. I don't often do reviews and I felt I was a bit unforgiving. So I decided to try Theo's again with a friend (who is an expert at making steaks himself) and also someone who would be brutally honest. I had the seafood risotto and he had the rib-eye. Both meals were delicious we were extremely satisfied. My risotto was rich and creamy and the seafood was perfectly cooked. My friends steak was done exactly to his wishes and he commented positively on the side dishes. Dessert was also tops. Service was excellent and the ambience was elegant yet relaxed. I regret my previous review and hope that this one rectifies my previous one!

The food was excellent, and the service was wonderful. We started with the scallops, which I can't recommend enough. The pork chop was incredibly tender and absolutely delicious. The server was so attentive and helpful with recommendations. I don't know that I've had better service anywhere. I highly recommend giving them a try for a wonderful dining experience.

Not what it used to be. The service is still top-notch, but the food is very disappointing.From the minute this restaurant opened. It was a favorite! Lately, it’s not the same.We had a large group, and every single person complained that the food was overly salted and lacked flavor.Cocktails could also be better! When something is served in a martini glass, there should not be ice floating in it (every time!).We ordered a crème brûlée for dessert, I’m not sure what we were served, but it was not the French dessert we know and love.Kitchen staff and bartending staff- not what it used to be. Given the competition in the area, this is surprising!

Was unimpressed with the food, the filet mignon was flavorless. For $60 for just my food I definitely expected more. It was cooked well but the flavor was bland. And for the price I was expecting more. Hostess did not seem happy to be there, either. Should have gone to Ruth’s Chris instead.

Every moment from the Hostess at the front door, to the Pastry Chef (Chris) delivering our dessert was amazing. Josh, our server, made us feel immediately at ease, and informed us on every detail in our dish. We participated in the Chef's tasting, and it did not disappoint! 5 courses for two, was MORE than enough food, and we left absolutely amazed. If you haven't tried Theos, or it's been a while, you're missing out!!
