It was good! I got "The Burger'' and it tasted like actual meat, like it was grilled!! Not like the meat you get at McDonald's. The French Fries I am pretty sure we're homeade, and they were also delicious!!

The bartender and the cook in the kitchen were both hard working and fun. It’s a comfortable environment, with clean even the bathroom was nice, and that can be a feat in a bar. The fried jalapeños, were well done and very tasty, and the fish and chips with a definite southern flare ie fried catfish and fries, was cooked perfectly and was really good. The bar top was quality and comfortable. The beer selection was somewhat limited but had a good local brew and the usual assortment of bottled and caned beers. Solid selection of spirits.. I don’t think there’s any Irish pub food items on the menu, and I didn’t see a drop of Guinness the entire place. So it’s a great pub but it wasn’t Irish. That said if I am in the area and want some solid pub food, I’ll certainly consider Brannon’s an excellent option.So looking at the pubs name perhaps when I was invited to an Irish pub there were assumptions made, because Brannon is certainly an Irish name that there would be at least some Irish food, and Guinness, now I am left to ponder is it possible to be an Irish pub and have neither Guinness on tap or bangers and mash, Sheppards pie etc.?

Laid back, unassuming place that surprised us with excellent sandwiches for lunch while waiting for car repairs. Extremely friendly staff. Don't let the outside fool you.

To be fair, I am fairly sure we caught them on an off-nite. The normal bartender (who was one of our main reasons for going there - she is a family friend) was off dealing with a loss in her own family. No problem - family is family. No worries there.However, the young man left in charge of the food & bar service was inserted way beyond his skill set, plus I hope he was under the influence, for his sake. Enough about that.I was with my 93 year old Mom, her 80+ friend and my girlfriend. The establishment was 15 to 20% occupied. My Mom was in a transport chair, we were hardly invisible. The scene is set.Quick Summary - I had to go to bar to:1. Order drinks after 1st round2. Ask him to come over andtake entree order after apps3. Request condiments4. Request drink refill (tea) forMom's friend (twice)5. Request Ticket to Pay6. Go back and pay ticket afterwaiting +/- 25 minutes whileMF & GF had exited. Momcouldn't because I was herchair pilot.Oh, and I never received my food order. When I asked my server to remove cost from bill his response was "We only had 2 deep fryers working Boss." We had been there 1hour & 43 minutes at that juncture.The food was good - I nibbled off everybody's plate.
