We got food again today after a while and again the veggie portabella sandwich had no veggies. I’m not sure if the servers just don’t know what they are doing. Tired of spending money at this place not doing their job

Paid about 6 dollars for overcooked pasta. The pasta was stringy, melty, gooey, and overdone with the sauce base. The taste was foul and extremely off. I gagged after taste testing it. I had this same dish awhile back when I first came here and it was never like this. At that time, I gave them good review, but the last two experiences were not good and today sealed the deal so I am changing my rating.This is the first time I ever gagged tasting something from a fast food place. This place used to be decent but went downhill quickly. There is a reason this place is nowadays often "dead" and when places are discussed to eat at among friends, Newks is never brought up as a viable option. I waited 15 minutes in the drive thru for this. Completely unacceptable and I won't be back after this experience. Happened at 3:20pm on 3/17/24.

20 minutes for half a sandwich and cup of soup and I was the only customer. Soup cold, sandwich inedible. Staff barely there, rude, on their phones. Manager not present so I couldn’t get a refund. Just a poorly run restaurant.

My first time at Newks was a pretty underwhelming experience. I’ve had a salad that I really enjoyed from a location near Hot Springs, brought by a friend, so I thought I’d give it a shot today. I waited in the drive thru for nearly 15 minutes for a half of a sandwich and a side of pasta salad. I was thinking “well at least the sandwich will be fresh” but it was a lukewarm cheesesteak sandwich that seemed to have just been flopped together with underdone peppers collecting on one end of the sandwich. It had a great flavor, but I have to say for $16 and a 15 minute wait in the drive through, I expected a bit more.
I used to eat Newks frequently because it is very convenient and I really enjoyed it but the past several times my order has been made incorretly. I ordered a turkey avocado sandwich several weeks back and it had no avocado. I got the green goddess salad this week. It is supposed to have chicken but it was missing the chicken.. another time I ordered no mayo and my sandwich had mayo. These are just a few of many instances lately and unfortunately these have been catered or to-go so I was not able to get the order fixed. Very disappointing to not get what you paid for. Someone needs to double check orders before they get sent out.

Showed up a few minutes before they opened and the manager was unlocking the doors. We waited a couple of minutes and then proceeded to the front door. As my 10-year-old daughter and I walked in, the man at the front counter said "10:30" and I said "excuse me?" "We don't open till 10:30" He said very rudely....... We just wanted to look at the menu because we had never been there before...... Never going back!Kid-friendliness: Not friendly at all!
