Lately in the Ft. Myers area, it is harder to find a place for lunch that doesn't cost an, "arm and a leg.* Hog Bodies, just off I-75 on Bayshore Drive in North Ft. Myers is a well known watering hole with great food and reasonable prices. Known for their pork dishes, they also have dailey specials, great soups and salads. The gumbo is wonderful and the potato salad is home made, just like mom used to make. Wine and beer prices have gone up a bit, but still within reason. Great place to try, very busy for lunch, would suggest a later time to go, around 1:30.

Good food, but limited menu items since we arrived just after lunch rush. Some items were sold out.

Meat was dry and overcooked, potato salad was decent, until I spotted a black hair laying on top of serving!! Upside, money was refunded, if course I will not be eating at this establishment again.

The food was good and there was plenty of it. The only problem was it was COLD in the building. My food cooled faster than I could eat it. That's a biggie for me.

Polish sausage sandwich 2 dry pieces buns that towered over the luke warm sausage. I say toast bread add pickle & sauted onions n Bell peppers

Pulled pork was dry, brisket was tough as well as the ribs. I went as soon as it opened up and expected Fresh bbq. The only reason why I’m giving 2 stars is because the sides were good.

I would've rated them 3 stars, but it's usually better than this. Had pulled pork, brisket, baked beans and potato salad. Meat and beans were barely above room temperature. Brisket was tough and chewy. Hopefully they fix this

Great food. Rib's fall off the bone, potato salad and Coleslaw is some of the best I've had in awhile. Stop by if you can. Well worth it.

Great food and reasonably priced. Clean nice place. It seems like the food is made here and not just bought from Sysco. Pulled pork, Potato casserole and coleslaw were favorites.

The brisket is decent but not incredible, the pulled pork is exceedingly good when fresh, the sausage is pretty good, but sausage is never really that spectacular in general. The real wave it shines for me is the burnt ends usually only available on Saturday. Those burnt ends changed my life and it will never be the same. I need more of those burnt ends.I enjoy this place so much that I came back two days later and was stricken with sadness to find there are only served on Saturdays. The pork and brisket were consistent up on my second visit.Side note: ask for a cup of pickles. They are free and surprisingly good. Best pickles I've had in awhile as strange as that may be
Really good ribs, perfectly moist, the beans were a tad too sweet, the dining room was very classy

I ordered a loaded baked potato with pulled pork. It was very tasty and it was HUGE. This was a spur of the moment choice, but I will definitely be going back. Highly recommend. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was clean and tables were quickly cleared.

I absolutely love this place!! Their sauces are amazing. My husband and I have differing tastes when it comes to bbq. I love that they have 7 distinct sauces so we are both happy. He likes #2 and I love #5!
