This place has the best chips and salsa I've ever tasted! The chips were hot and fresh, and the mild salsa had a very nice texture and flavor. Everything else we tried (fajitas, burritos, tacos, and dessert chips) was also very good.The service was pretty good, especially considering how busy it was. I ate at Las Playitas for the first time this weekend and will definitely go back. The menu is large and varied. My friends enjoyed traditional items such as enchiladas, served on one plate with sides of rice, beans, a little salad, and guacamole. They commented in particular that the enchiladas were large and very filling. The guacamole looked really good to me, a little chunky with finely diced tomatoes and onions. Food came out super fast. You can't order a margarita or wine before 2pm. Food was very good! Looked like we were seated in one of the last booths to get refurbished. Mine was quite dirty,not to mention cracked and worn. I would still return, they give me no reason to think that they are giving 100% for a good food experience.
