This was our visit and won't be our last. Let me first say, I am not a hush puppy eater and I are 6, they were SO good and they were sweet and not oily at all, which is what I am used to. Our fish, beans and slaw was also very good.Clean and friendly environment.I would recommend

One of those strange places where the staff act like they’re upset you came to eat there. No drink refills and my soda, I probably paid over $2 for, was about half full when brought to me. Just a very strange experience but the food was good.

My parents and I decided to try macks for the first time, disappointed is a understatement. Fish tasted very muddy,my parents were both cold they asked to be moved from out of the fans the waitress told them no,with no reason why,we found hair on my dad's plate when I mentioned it to the waitress she asked if it was on plate or food,well it was under the fish,her only response was it could of been from the person washing dishes,I even told her I wasn't being rude but I know in my kitchen where I manage it would need to be addressed is all I was saying,she still once again dismissed me. I know this one review won't make a difference but but waitresses should be rude and dismissive like that it's rude. We won't go backParking: Big

Stopped in for an afternoon bite to eat. We had cheeseburgers and a salad, all very fresh and tasty. The complementary hushpuppies were amazing! Wait staff was awesome! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Easy homey place. I enjoy it when I just want to eat and relax. I have never been disappointed, surprised maybe but nothing bad. Relax and just enjoy.

Some of the worst food we have ever had. We had some company and decided to take them out for a nice dinner. Due to the great reviews and the usually packed parking lot, we took them here. All six adults ordered different meals and none of them were good. I tasted a bite from all of them. They even left the skins on the catfish before frying it. I ordered the expensive fish special and it was hard, cold, bland and overcooked with no perks. It was awful. We were paying the tab and I had to plead with our guests that they didn't have to eat their meal if they didn't like it and that is what they were trying to do to be courteous. They immediately stopped eating it and we payed our large tab then left and since we had so much good food at home, we fed them there. The kid's meals actually looked better than our meals, but the six kids did not even finish them. The staff acted stressed and were not friendly. The only thing that was any good was the green tomato relish. I was so embarrassed in front of our guests that we had taken them to a place we had not tried ourselves. We won't be back. Maybe they can hire some people in the kitchen that care about how they cook and not lose more potential business in the future, and they also need to train the wait staff to smile sometimes and act like they actually want to wait on you. We didn't complain and we were nice, but the waitress should have addressed the fact that most of our meals looked untouched. Live and learn.

We eat here every year for my very large family reunion. The food and service is always great!Parking: They have a huge parking lot with lots of spaces.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids' menu, lots of decorations on the wall and TVsWheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp to get in the front door.
Always ask for Lindsey's section! Such a sweet lady!
