Got bbq sandwich and it is the best I have had from quitman rosebud or Heber. It was so tasty I didn't even need the tasty bbq sauce
The Smokehouse is a wonderful local restaurant. We eat there almost every day of the week, look forward to various lunch specials, and breakfast is served all day. We also love the staff!

Cheerful service! I'm not sure why there are steers all over their signs and menus; I could only find pork on the menu... And it wasn't great. It was overcooked and the sauce tasted like it was out of a jar. No smoke discernable at the Smoke House. Buns were of the grocery store variety and I'm pretty sure the mashed potatoes and gravy were from a box.I could overlook some of these culinary sins if I could have had a beer with lunch, but that's not possible here, though religious literature as you walk in is.

Ok prices, but poor service and my pulled pork came dry. Had to ask for BBQ sauce at a BBQ restaurant. That just ain't right. Only sauce at the table was hot sauce. Fried apple pie was also "just ok". I propose a new slogan for this place "smoke house: we know brothers is closed".I've also asked a few locals, they say the breakfast here is actually decent. Maybe some re-branding away from BBQ and towards a general diner would be a good idea?
