Really nice Manager, very personable....but this is a sorry course. The fairways are in terrible shape, though it is still early in the year. The greens have a lot of POA, and the traps are pitiful. I liked the layout but the course is in such bad shape.Restaurant was not open, because it was Monday? Which meant we couldn't get a beet at the turn. I will not return.

Be prepared to pay whatever Shawn thinks you should pay. Plus he's not a good server., I usually feel like an inconvenience when I go and Shawn is serving.

Great course. Challenging and should study layout before playing. (Saw a low rating on here because of layout - weird.. who always wants an easy course?). I've played 3 times now and getting better at layout. Most fairways and greens are nice. Beautiful course and very nice folks playing and running pro shop! Had catfish at 19th hole - great food. Only reason I don't have 5 stars is a few dirt spots on some fairways. Enjoyed the challenge! Great for the price!

If you live in Central Arkansas, Diamondhead is not worth the 1hr drive to play. Try pine valley, it's the same experience. Diamond head leans more to the older generation golfers meaning if you hit the ball further than 260+ you will be through the fair way. When I went it was a muddy mess. Greens has 3inch of water at minimum. The fairways looked worse than peoples back yards. And the greens looked like my face when I was 15. Was out of balls at hole number 9 due to me not know where to aim my shot. If you find yourself in this same predicament, stop by the pro shop and snag a pack of noodles (long and soft). You will tee on hole 10 and see a green in front of you and think , " sick a short par 4" nope you hit a iron to a 90 deg dog leg right. All in all it would be a good course if they kept up the fair ways, trimmed the greens and actually had tee boxes. So I would give it a 3 but I was hype about this burger, And there was no burger. Will come back just to try the burger.

With a little more creativity in the kitchen and menu along with a better selection of beer, well liquor and frozen drinks the place could be much better. You don't need taps to serve great Arkansas beer because beer in cans technology delivers excellent brew. The same with liquor made in Arkansas and Texas. Pop up that menu....better TV selections other than golf would be welcomed..even more now with baseball playoffs upcoming, NFL and College football...crank up that sound....pry the remote out of the hands of the golf diehards an lets all have a say....2 more big screens can solve that problem easily.

Horrible Service and Long wait for a burger. Old men drunk by 7 and cursing in front of children.
